| tbcardist88 | 07-26-2010 01:39 AM | Quick Question.... OK, the amazon a-holes just banned me for god knows what reason. I'm going to make a new account and register it under my fathers name who lives about 5 hours away from me. I will be changing my ip address and doing all that other stealth jazz as well. Will amazon ban me because my ip address isnt in sync with the information of where my father lives???? |

50 Miles is another story."
Oh,,,Please Excuse me I read 5 MILES Away--(its late Im Tired) 5 HOURS is Definetally an IP Issue (Unless you travel at 2 Miles per Hour)
Well being that you father was so Kind as to allow you to use his info, Maybe he will go 1 Step further, Allow you to remote access his computer from yours where by you will connect to the internet from there and use his Desktop to manage your accounts kind of like a Private 1 User VPN.
I know someone who is doing something like this for a while now VERY Successfully. Other Forum members might be able to help you out with all the specifics, I know that there are a couple of issues that you have to deal with but I personally am Not familiar with them. |
| tbcardist88 | 07-26-2010 01:47 AM | ok, then how do i manage to use new information? ive read about people even using "made up" addresses. |
| TGMT² | 07-26-2010 01:48 AM | Quick Answer:
Best to do a lot more research before opening another Amazon account. Other factors come into play for Stealth Accounts with Amazon.
@slapped, OP is saying 5 hours away. |
| tbcardist88 | 07-26-2010 01:57 AM | Does anyone think they can help me? I'm just another fellow man who's been screwed by amazon with my rightfully earned money caught in a 90 freezing period. Please, I just want to start back up again. Lets say I have all the information of a friend of mine. When I sign up, it will be as if my friend had just made his own amazon account. The only thing is, my ip address is 5 hours from his residence. Will THAT trigger a red flag? |
| tbcardist88 | 07-26-2010 02:05 AM | haha ok to clear things up, i guess what im really trying to get at is, does the address i use for amazon have to be in close proximity to my ip address? |

And by the way, is it Father ( as you said in your first post) Or Friend that Lives 5 Hours away, If you want help you need to be Straight with me, I won't speak for other members here, But I personally get Mad when People Tell me EVER Changeing Stories.
Father or Friend I know that it does not matter as far as creating an Account is concerned, but it Matters for me to know if I am trying to help a "Straight Shooter" or Just another "Get Over Artist"
Im sorry I know it is a Small Insignificant point to Most People, But not me. |
| tbcardist88 | 07-26-2010 10:34 AM | thanks.
and sorry, i just asked my friend who live about 3 miles away from me and he agreed to let me use his information... so yes, to be clear, it is now my friend. but anyways, back to this ip address thing, would using an address that close to mine cause suspension? i am new at this and any help would be appreciated SO much. |
A new IP address should not cause suspension unless your friend has been suspended before. You are best to use a different computer rather than switch user accounts. Lot of stuff on Amazon is tracked including your computer handle. |
| tbcardist88 | 07-26-2010 10:54 AM | well, i will be using a different computer.. but it will be connecting through the same router as my last one. Will that still work?
And if I do manage to create an account successfully, how long do I wait until I can start selling the items I used to sell on my suspended account? |
