automatic suspension on amazon for listing p90x (Amazon)
 

i heard someone say that listing p90x (even if used) on amazon will result in automatic suspension.....any truth to this?

I have NEVER Heard ot this, but KNOWING Johnson & Pham (lawyers for p90x) it Would not Surprise me.

Also, I DO Know Several Sellers Currently selling P90x on Amazon

the person i spoke with told me that after 5 minutes of listing the item even as used, he got the "copyrighted" email and suspension......he also listed this about 3 am, so i think it was probably "bots" that caught it.....
just wanted to let everyone know about this before they waste an account.

Don't mean to change the subject, but has Johnson & Pham ever been thrown anyone in jail for selling couterfeit P90X? I know they are sending tons of letter demanding money to almost everyone who lists any Beachbody product.

Johnson & Pham cannot throw anyone in jail. Only the government can.

Having said that, they DO sometimes purchase their client's products from eBay and/or Amazon sellers to determine if the set is counterfeit.

If they do this to you, and you sold a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ set, they most likely WILL file a lawsuit against you. If they have evidence that you sold LOTS AND LOTS of them, they could try to convince a government prosecutor to file a criminal case against you.

However, they also send lots of mail (regular letters) to people selling their clients' products when no purchase has been made. Many of the people receiving them just wanted to sell their legitimate used set that they no longer use. These letters just demand money and that you stop selling them.

Bottom line is, I would not even try to sell a LEGITIMATE used copy online. Too many potential problems.

Also, you almost will run into trouble if you sell a NEW copy of a product like p90x or insanity or your baby can read. Just open it up, verify everything is there and sell it like new.

I agree. There thought is that if you have new boxes of the beach body product it's ⊗⊗⊗⊗.
Think about it. where would you get several new sets? So most def make sure they are used , like new. Only list one. Say you got it as a gift. Also diversify what you have listed like a used book etc. so you look like a casual user.

@nobody - Well fi your friend is getting suspended immediately selling this item, chances are they have honed in on his repetitive activity. They are GOOD with selling patterns, text matching, and such.

I am betting your friend might be a bit lazy on his format - just going in gung-ho...

this was on amazon, new ip, new win user id, vcc, telephone number.
he listed 3 items that he never sold before and that included the p90x.

oh well..i just tell him try craigslist

Someone here had no problems listing a few of them as USED on Amazon. They even lasted minutes before they were purchased!

I sold two p90x back to back as first sales on amazon and im currently getting the money into my bank. It's not how you do it, it's who does it.

any one using a proxy ip technique to change up your physical area ip range so the patterns are different?

The same patterns, items, ip range, time of day will be you blocked

dont do that, Proxies are official, amazon checks that, and when they find out u use a proxy, they will/could delete your whole account!

One thing I have noticed that if I have an excellent account with way high FB/DSR's no warnings though out it's life, I get away with allot more in a conservative manner mind you.

Looks like there's 31 used p90x on amazon right now and several of the sellers just launched so looks like it's still a sellable product.

You can also try Uplillar. Similar to craigslist except it appeals worldwide I think. Haven't had any of my listings for P90X or insanity taken down.

I used have sold both P90X and Insanity on Amazon, even went through 30 day temporary suspension. Eventually, the account was permenantly suspended, not for the P90X but the Insanity, even though feedback was 100 percent, direct customer complaints to Amazon. So beware of Insanity, some of the disks don't work properly and that will give you away. That's my 2 cents on the issue anyway.

Same thing with p90 I think that's 1 reason most people sell them as used.

Since you are selling them as used, why not just test out each and every disk to see if they work properly anyways. ;)

That's what some people do, takes alot of time though what I used to do is keep one to use for replacements and also any returns then when they complain about a disc being scratched you can send them a replacement disc...

From my experience on Amazon you can't sell these as new even if you want to. When listing the option doesn't even appear in the box, so you will see Used - Like New listings with comments that say brand new in box.

The problem with these discs are they will play in any dvd player, laptop, etc but the workouts are incomplete. Not many sellers watch the entire dvd to check for problems like that. For example, Insanity 13 dvd set, 2 of the 3 bonus dvds will be in a warmup or exercise and as it is transitioning into another exercise then it will completely skip it and now your in the middle of something else. But the disc doesn't skip or pause it is the regular play of the dvd. I don't sell neither anymore, but I never had a problem with P90X.

I was just reading the thread and hey, how about this, sell a legit product and you wont get suspended or at least you wont have the fears or reluctance to post an item on either amazon or ebay. There are tons of items to sell, its just like everything else, no one wants to do the real work, just get rich quick by shortcuts.

^^^ If only it was that easy finding a low or decent profitable legit product.
I'm still looking and always willing to trade or pay for one.

Legit products can be found but the rip x VOLUME is how you make profit...takes a lot of time sadly but it's one way...

who in the world would sell these p90 x and dvds on ebay? lmao or amazon.. how is there a profit,, who in the hell would list an item for only 60.00 profit if that? 60.00 profit isnt that much.. thats not even worth the trouble..
