Exclamation I want justice from Amazon

Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me regarding Amazon. I started selling on Amazon late April. My two month, I wasn't really trying and everything went fine and made very little.

On the 3rd month, my sales increased as I pumped more money, time and energy into it. My sales increased but no matter what I did (left nice notes in shipments for FB, Emailed FB requests, etc), I wasnt able to match the FB amount to increased orders. Amazon, automatically one day informed me my account was on a 30 day funds hold.

Well, okay fine. I continued as they asked and still 'worked' for them and shipped out orders. There policy states they do not require sellers to ship with tracking, but I truly believe they prefer this and actually require it. In any event, I passed the 30 day funds old, only to be thrown into another 45 day hold where my funds were not able to be withdrawn until 7 days after shipment. But okay, whatever douchebags, fine!

Just 08/01, they told me my listings where removed and I was no longer able to sell, but still had access to my seller account to finish any orders or future chargebacks or A-Z Claims. The notice stated if I sent in a clear detailed action plan, they would review it and maybe consider reinstating me. Well, I did just that within 24 hours. The following day on 08/2, I received an email stating I was reinstated.

Full of joy that all my investments on this was going to be not effortless, I continued to ship orders and be Amazon's slave. Well, less than 24 hours after the notice to reinstate my account was emailed to me, they emailed me again stating an account specialist reviewed it and decided I premanately am no longer able to sell! ! They gave me no explanation. They gave me nothing to go by!

The only hint I had was my first 30 day hold when they told me my sales increased way to much and not enough FB was given.

To top things off, Amazon has an Order Defect Rate that they require has to be less than 1%. Well, that's impossible. If you have 100 orders, you can't have more than one neutral or bad FB! It takes one buyer leave you a stupid FB! And that's what happened to me. This idiot left me one negative FB because she stated her order was not received on time! She sent the item 'expedited' but she didnt realize the Amazon policy was that sellers have up to 6 days to expedite this package which does not include the 2 day ship time (if that's even used up). Stupid buyer was made she received her item in 3 damn days!!!! I asked her to politely remove her FB because her shipment was expedited, just not OVERNIGHT NEXT DAY kind of shipment. It was the priority mail which is 2-3 days, and cost me more than Amazon even credited me back for shipment credits! This buyer was so dumb, she even posted that she didnt receive it on time, and then she didnt even put down the correct item she ordered. She didnt have a clue what she was doing! This impacted my ODR % but Amazon refused to remove it and even if they did, they told me that negative % still effects me. They told me it was MY JOB to inform and educate the buyers!!!!!! Which I did tell her the policy!

In addition to FB, Amazon admitted to me that they do not have a system that identifies who cancels on order. Meaning, for example (exact thing happened to me), a few customer ordered in the middle of the night, and cancelled within a few minutes. Seller support says that when this happens, it is counted against as seller fault and effect ODR and to email Seller performance all orders that were cancelled which wasnt intiated by me, which I did 5 different time - all the same cancelled orders but seller support did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This increased my ODR % way pass their 1% requirement!!

Then, another buyer told me she never received her package. I provided her with such a detailed and polite customer service which I also provided transcripts to Amazon, but that didnt matter. I didnt even hassle with this buyer and told her no problem, that I'll send another package right away and this time add delivery confirmation. 4 days later, the package was confirmed delivered and received and was tracked all the way to her doorsteps. I also followed Amazon'z policy and used the address provided by amazon. I added a gift to the package for all the inconvenience it may have caused her. Well, this one, filed an A-Z claim. Bam! That is going against my ODR % again! I provided amazon detailed accounts of both incidents and gave them delivery confirmation. They never gave her the money back but they stated it will effect me because they want to "capture the reason why" customers feel the need to file a claim. No duh! filed a claim to get two merchandises and a free gift all for damn free! How unfair for me!

Another guy, one day after shipment, filed a chargeback claim within 2 days and stated he NEVER received the package. Well no damn duh you didnt receive it. You paid for standard postage which is according to Amazon 4-14 days for shipment, although its more like 6 days. Well, that goes against my ODR %. Amazon states they prefer seller to be hassle free and refund the order right away, which I did! But Amazon does not require a buyer to send the package back. So I lost merchandise and got kicked off from this last icing on the cake!!!!!!!

So, no FB comparable to sales volumes, really dumb ignorant buyers leaving FB, Amazon has no system or care to check who cancelled orders and it automatically goes against a seller and then deceiving people stealing ****. Therefore, in my fourth month, I'm kicked off.

Please help me. What should I do???? I'm coming back prepared. I have all the things ready that everyone posted here said to do, BUT what do I do to avoid being constantly monitored for no reason?! Should I make tons of sales for the first 28 days Velocity limit so I can be at this limit without it raising flags later when sales increases? or do I start out slow and build FB? And what should I do with these seller performance team who does nothing, like when I asked them to remove the cancellation ODR%???????

How do these people expect anyone to keep working for free?! I felt like a slave, shipping orders for these *******s and not being paid because of one hold after another!!!!!!!!!!!! And then, you have the stupid idiot buyers!
I hate Amazon so much. I wasted so much time:faint, money, tears, energy, effort, goodwill, hope and sleep over this.

Please advise me!

You need to be very mindful of your sales velocity on Amazon. You sold too, much too soon.

I know you want justice from Amazon. I want to wake up tomorrow morning with the body of Brad Pitt and the money of Bill Gates.

But neither of these things are going to happen.

Go stealth. I also recommend the following:

1) ALWAYS ship the same day, or the next day and enter tracking numbers.
2) Go slow at first and build a little each week.
3) Never rely on ONE account. Most here have 2-10 accounts if they sell on Amazon.

Also, you didn't say what category your items are in, but if they are considered "high-risk" like software, dvd's, etc. then try to list something else first on the new accounts. If you create a new account and then start relisting everything you were previously selling, there is a good chance that the accounts will be linked.

Lastly, don't take it personally. You are not the first person this has happened to, and you won't be the last. You are NEVER going to change Amazon. The key is to work the system they have in place, rather than trying to change it.

I know there is a stealth guide for ebay, but is there a reliable stealth guide for Amazon?

Not that I am aware of. There WAS one, but it is hopelessly out of date. Best bet is to follow eBay Stealth and then read the posts on these forums for more up to date info on Amazon.

Main points:

1) Follow eBay Stealth
2) MUST change NIC adapter!
3) MUST spoof all MAC addresses

Personally, I recommend picking up a used PC for each Amazon Stealth account. Amazon is on the cutting edge of technology and is experimenting with browser fingerprinting. Using the same computer can work, but one day you may wake up and find all of your accounts linked due to something new that they implemented.

My approach may be overkill, but it is what I am comfortable with.

BTW: Remember, the $100 cheapie is just fine. You don't need the latest and greatest to access the internet.

Yes they are implementing new tracking and linking all the time. No ebook could keep up and I doubt the advanced technology could be summed up in an ebook.
