I am stuck with Amazon. How do they trace me??
 

I am trying to register a new account for Amazon UK while my first one is under suspension and I just can't go through them!
I am not new to internet and I did everything to make it look like a completely new account, and i just can't see how the managed to trace me. So what i did the last time is
1. New VPN IP address
2. Cleaned all cookie and cache
3. New email, both names and address
4. New PAYG sim card
5. Tried a couple of VCC and both failed so i got a real friend card registered to the different address.

I have the account aproved and list a couple low-risk items i never sold on my previous account. Then after a couple of hours their usual email that they blocked my account due to
I could think they did not like me having 3 different cards into my account with two of them being VCC and 6 registration attempts while i was trying to use vcc with different billing address. That could trigger some flag and taken into account VPN IP I used they could block it as suspicious. But it specifically states they believe this is a linked account, so they must have linked it somehow unless it’s just a blind guess…

I am just completely puzzled I don’t see how on the earth they could find it.

Any thoughts guys?

i also listed a couple of items i never sold before so they could not match inventory either...

Did you use the same computer even with different windows account? Could be your computer ID.

Supposedly Amazon can track your MAC and other info because you have to download something to log in. I don't deal with Amazon, so don't know if it is true, but it is easy enough to spoof your MAC using SMAC or similar program.
Also, there are ways to change/spoof other info like machine id, window keys etc. I would think it was the VPN though causing you the trouble. Try using a fresh proxy.

With regards to this, I know people have set up virtual OS with VMWare and then spoof the mac. If you using the same VPN, yes it will cause trouble but OP has said New VPN address so..not an issue.

Same for MAC/NIC - he is using new card.

I am betting the comp id has been flagged.

i would agree the combo of Mac address, Nic - id, hardware - id is being tracked. you need to spoof it.

another thing is to go behind a router to change the ip easily. this should help!

I can't see how amazon can get anybody computer name or MAC address. it's impossible to do it via browser unless client's security level is totally lowered. the only way to get it is to have some application installed that rats on you.
it's also impossible to get to your real mac or ip via VPN as traffic is encrypted.

the only thing that struck me is flash cookie that i did not clear even though i have flash disabled by default in the browser. another option is if somebody else who has been previously banned by amazon used the same vpn ip...

Amazon can also track you using a "Fingerprint" of your Browser setup, and they CAN see your Mac Address, so Basically if you used the Same Computer, The Fingerprint is EXACTLY the SAME for all the Accounts created by that computer, Therefore you are getting Linked. They CANNOT See your Computers Name or Get any kind of Hardware Profile,,,YET,,,but mark my words that is Comming Soon

Your MAC address can be read by anyone with the software to read it.
It is done through Java in about 5-15 seconds.

that's right they can read your mac using any language including java. the thing is you need to run and install it on your machine. it's not possible to do it via html and javascript inside your browser

they can trace you using third-party cookies so it's necessary to delete all cookies and temp file not just amazon ones but once it's done you should be clear unless you have some spyware already installed

my thought is that amazons system cycles like any system does meaning it does not, or cannot hold block or suspended acct. infos for ever. millions of people use there selling platform. Basically there whole system is based on risk just like a governments security system. everything is based on the potential of risk factors that are associated that allows the system to make choices on weather the new seller or acct. holder is the same person based on different variables. Think of it this way, it like a bucket or slots. as their system gathers data based on geo area, inclding geo ip address, address provided, Cc verification, name, product being sold, high - risk? amount being sold, when, how far apart your sales are etc...

If too many things add to poss being the same person, then it is. one way to clear everything is time. if you wait a few weeks of a month... the info used to put the pieces together are either less of a risk or gone. They cannot hold all of the info forever. Like an server eventually they have to cycle space and delete info to make room. so wait a few weeks or a month. change ur Mac address, change your Nic-id , change teh nic manufacture with a different oid manufactures code all in SMAC or MACmakeup

and of course use fully anonymous vcc's and a virtual number that is forwarded to your phone for pin verifications.

How long do you think Amazon holds info on canceled accounts?
