Account blocked right before Christmas! Please help!
 

So... my main account is just finishing up a 30 day review for poor performance. This account has 100+ feedback and should clear review any day.

In the mean time, I was selling on a different account with 100% feedback and legitimate items. Minutes ago, I got the letter of death. I was linked to another account... blah blah

I am baffled and in fear that they are going to take my other account down too.

Okay.... enough crying

I have 2 additional accounts with very little feedback sitting idol. Now before I use them I need to know...

I am changing my MAC address through my router config page. Is this enough or should I not even be using this computer because of its internal MAC.

I have accounts I can access but I am afraid to from this computer. PLEASE ADVISE. Do I need to be using SMAC?

Make a new windows account, and checnge ip address. that will work,

unless your contact info is so similar its flagging you..

Also if you are going to sell the same items, i would take new pictures and word my ads differently.. it is posssible to link by pictures..

I have Amazon ghost and read it several times.

I am able to get a new IP by changing my routers MAC address. I have been doing this for some time.

Where I get confused is if I need to worry about my laptops MAC address.

I have SMAC but have not used it. I am a bit confused on how it works. If I want to spoof my computers MAC, do I need to run the program any time I log on to Amazon?

When I get home tonight, I am going to change my fingerprints, get a new MAC on router, which will get me a new IP.

Then I just need to run SMAC and I will be okay?

Yeah getting banned from amazon is really nothing to fear now a days, I think most of us have already mastered it pretty much and theres always plenty of tips on here for anybody who still needs help and of course the stealth book is a great resource. But yeah overall getting ain't a big worry anymore, I get banned and have an account back up in like 5 minutes. Just a minor bump in the road and yes change your mac and ip and do the whole process. VMware is also great.

yeah I definitely in the last 2 days put 6 accounts up successfully that im waiting to mature for 14 days before I start selling on.

On the other hand I got a definite answer for what 1 type of banning means from not paying attention lol:

when you go to sign up and on the last page it says your account has been blocked to sell or whatever before you even get to finish putting up the item, that means that you signed up for your account (I just did the buyer account before I realized, and then changed my ips before upgrading it to seller, to no avail) that has the same ip as a seller account already registered. Luckily, it didn't take the other seller account down weird enough. You HAVE to use SMAC, its real simple to use. just read the help files

Okay... I figured out SMAC and changed my computers MAC.

Looking into finally getting VMware to eliminate some of these issues. Do most of you use it?

vmware is the only way to go. i can switch-between/check 8 accounts in 30 minutes on a netbook. amazing

ya just dont skimp on the hardware in the netbook...mine runs ssssssssssssslow sometimes...and big green plant above didnt you get that resized pic for your sig from pod :)

do you run different operating systems or stick just with multiple versions of one.

Do you have to buy the software for each operating system?

Would this have any effect on the Turn, Burn & Collect after 90 Days Method? Would they be shutting that down quicker than usual or can we still sell hard & expect to last about a week?

I been doing that method for more then a year now, seems to work the same on all accounts and seasons. Some even surprised me and last a month or two. Unless your selling in the toys category shouldn't see much difference.

Funny you mentioned that, I'm suprised how long one I'm working on now has lasted. Guess they're too busy f*ing with everyone else.
