What internet connection do yo use for Amazon?

I am using a haxorware cable modem with a router running tomato firmware to run my multiple accounts.

Do you use the same air card for all your accounts?

First Edition 12-06-2010 09:30 PM

I have an overdrive from sprint, it's a mobile hotspot.

I also have currently 2 netbooks with verizon, which have built in air cards, and I have a 3rd verizon usb air card.

I also have a virgin usb air card that I never use.

My first amazon account I use cable internet

Second amazon account i use free dial up but will abandon that account

a combination of netgear router and cable internet, and vps.

some ppl at not thinking about ip's getting tracked back to their provider. i do not think u can go stealth on Verizon. can you?

I am thinking of a wifi hotspot device like a unlocked cradlepoint wifii outer and virgin mobile android phone or usn internet stick that you reg. anonymously

Could you not just get the prepaid usb Verizon card? That would be stealth.

I would really to hear if anyone uses a cradlepoint for Amazon. That could be the best option for a lot of people if it works.

newtools 12-07-2010 11:40 PM

I am looking at a cradlepoint unlocked with upgraded firmware. it just a wifi router with a usb port. you can plug any usb braodband stick into it or use the usb to tether your phone and then broadcast the data to up to 16 devices at the same time. thats 16 different ips at the same time.

If you plug a stealth broadband device or prepaid steath phone with data it would work great.

First Edition 12-07-2010 11:47 PM

I don't understand how it would be 16 unique ip's. The ip address is still obtained from the connection from the usb air card or phone from the network right?

jbluntz 12-08-2010 12:01 AM

Couldn't quite understand that either but I know one way you could get 16 ips at the same time with 16 long range wifi cantennas aimed at 16 diff hotspots.

newtools 12-08-2010 01:09 AM

all depends on your source meaning dynamic ip's from the provider, you can set each connected device to connect and refresh to a new individual ip in the pool. even if they are only 2 digits apart as this happens sometimes they are still separate ip's.

jbluntz 12-08-2010 01:36 AM

So in other words you need 16 phones or broadband sticks along with the monthly service fee. Thats pretty expensive, a long range coffee cantenna costs about about $5 or less to make and gets free wifi.

And free cancer :)

I signed up for dial up and used a prepaid card today, just for a backup method if my modem goes down. It seems its one of the best methods if you have lots of Amazon accounts.

First Edition 12-09-2010 11:25 AM

You can never have enough internet connections with this kind of thing, that's a fact. I live in an area where my power goes out... often. Battery back-ups and cellular connections save my life sometimes.

Whats the fastest dial up service, or option? I know its pretty slow, but is there a faster way using a dial up service?

Also, if you use a dial up connection, do u have to change/spoof the mac on that computer?

Thanks

First Edition 12-12-2010 08:35 PM

dial up is limited to 56kbps.... using v90. It's just as fast when using ebay and paypal ONLY.... for the most part. Having higher bandwidth allows much much more of course, but for the purposes of stealth, it does the job

webgoon 12-16-2010 02:08 PM

Tethering my iPhone's 3G connection. Fortunately for me, I signed up for ATT's crappy service before they set the data limitation so I'm on an unlimited data plan.

newtools 12-16-2010 03:15 PM

for Iphone users - Dowload - Ipmanger - from the appstore.

it tracks your used ip address used, and allows you to change ur ip with the tap of a button in the app.

Back in the day there was a dual 56K modem that merged two lines into 112K. Might be able to pick one of those up on ebay. Not sure if any stores sell them anymore.
