having trouble changing mac on router
 

Hello- I've read through Amazon Ghost a few times now and I'm getting everythig set up for a stealth account. I am running into a problem when trying to change the MAC address for my router (it's a Linksy;s)
I cant seem to come up with the correct username/password. I've tried the suggested ones in Amazon Ghost and even looked on the list of router usernames/passwords too.
Any more suggestions??

I have a linksys and i log in with this info:

192.168.1.1
admin
admin

It has to work. If it doesn't, there is a little hole in the back of the router, get a needle and push it into the hole, this will reset your router's to default factory settings.
If it still doesn't work, find out the model number of your router, go to google and type: linksys (your model number) control panel login

As newtools said, get net gear. I bought mine on eBay for $20. Enables you to change your MAC no problem.

With my linksys wireless router, the following works:
http://192.168.1.1/
username: (leave blank)
password:admin
good luck.

i believe if you hold the reset button for 10 seconds it goes back to factory specs...

just use admin (user) and admin (pw) go to mac address clone...enable it and type 2 NEW numbers in the last space and HIT SAVE SETTINGS! then page reloads unplug the router and wait 20 seconds and check you ip address with any ip addy website.
