AT&T Uverse users

I know there is a thread on this but it didnt all my questions.

Previously, I ran a net-gear wireless router off of a comcast modem. I was able to log into my netgear router configuration page and change my MAC address, in turn giving me a new IP.

This made it extremely easy for me to navigate between accounts with VMWARE.

Well...

I moved and got At&t UVERSE. I am having it installed on Friday.

To my knowledge, I will not be able to run my netgear router because this modem is an "all in one" in that the wireless is built into the AT&T equipment.

So now what am I to do about my IP address? Will buying multiple modems and switching between them give me seperate IP's?

Any better ideas?

At&t UVERSE is bad for stealth. The IP never change even it is dynamic IP. I used it more then 1 your now and still same IP doesn't matter what I did :-)

I don't think you can use multiple gateway with ATT

Best way to go with stealth is cable modem
