geting MAC address through browser ??

many ppl said amazon track our MAc address ,but i cant find any infos about geting MAC address throuth browser without any activX plugins , so someone can give me a link to detect my MAC address ?

i think the MAC address is only seen in the same lan

I think many ppl tell stories. :tears: Does not make sense to me that it is detectable thro' the browser. :doh:

I've read it might be possible to get it with javascript but haven't seen any actual proof yet.

amazon uses google earth to view your keystrokes as well! ovidiu speaks the truth. he's a wealth of info

that suprise me , but google earth is a map service its't it ? how can they view our keystrokes ?

Yeah you can find a persons mac adress of someone who's on the same network, that's already a known fact.

You can view someone's keystrokes with a key logger, I doubt amazon uses keyloggers they're usually sent in a virus or trojan.

Lol. I was actually one of the first to figure out that Amazon was using MAC tracking. I'll say no more about that, except to note that ironically, it was while running a legitimate non-stealth account. Basically just stumbled on the idea one day.
