Just a heads up......
 

Opened a new Amazon account today. Was immediately suspended until I added banking information. Had to scramble to open one online, added bank/routing, and Im good to go........SUCKERS!

I have been asked for this only once. And that time I accidentally dialed into my local dial-up number instead of the city I was registering in. So I had an IP from one location, which did not match the location I registered.

Are you sure there is nothing you did incorrectly?

I open Amazon today and did not have that problem did not ask me for any bank info...

Are you sure it wasn't for some other reason? I opened one today as well and they did not Suspended me due to not adding bank info.

yes, I did use fast free dial-up to register, so maybe that was it. Everything else was new, and fresh.

Maybe you already did this, and know this but....Fast Free dial up gives you choices of various towns to call from. If you pick a town nearby the town you registered your account with, then the IP would be nearer to that town. Could be a long distance call though

Yeah it happens every once in a while when they detect something fishy, either add it or just make another stealth.

This is something I have seen a few times.
It is not new.
