Can UK seller sell on Amazon.com?
 

hi there ,

I sell on Amazon.co.uk as I live in U.K but I also wanna sell on Amazon.com is that possible, if it is then what exactly i need do I need U.S adress, bank account , credit cards etc etc... do I need to use VPN so my I.p looks local... any advice on this would be appreciated..... thank you...

Sax4 was saying he was able to spread his sales on all sites of Am az on using remote IP - just should not use a suspended IP.

Amz have opened up their international borders, so if your name is Heinrich and you live in Germany and want to sell on amz.com, use all the same details as your German account, no stealth details needed at all, they are letting you do this. I'ts kind of cool because when setting up one Ghost account, you can set up a few more in different countries.

It's a very good opportunity IMO, think out of the box, maybe there are goods that are popular in the states, but not many people are selling in Germany and they're much more expensive. Go forth and conquer!

Oh make sure you use Google Chrome to translate for you, and also you must put the item descriptions in the local language, again Google can help you with that.

Damn, I just listed something for sale on Ebay as well as Amz.de, but sold on both!, I only have one!

On Ebay I sold for £50 on Amazon DE I sold for 100 euros (£85)

I think i'm going to cancel and refund the Ebay person, which I don't want to do because it's a new account, I might refund them a little extra for the inconvenience and hope they don't leave neg. Amz are less lenient than Ebay with cancellations.

This item was discontinued, and thus no-one was selling on DE so I could basically make up my own price and try my luck. I bought it for £20.

You could buy it from a totally different source, like a different eBay or Amazon or whatever and have it shipped to your customer.
You could probably still make some profit on it too.

Yep exactly, I do this quite a bit ;). They bought something from Amazon it arrives from Amazon, albeit a different one :D

I want to try Amazon.com as well, here i see that i can use absolutely the same UK details which i used for local account. Can you pls confirm that? Thanx

Oh thank you.. i thought it would be more difficult. But once my main account is suspended foreign one will be suspended automatically too, right?

but one more thing on amazon you are only allowed one account if i open one on amazon.com even with the same details don`t I need permission from Amazon first ... please help...

You are only allowed one account on Amazon UK yes, but you can have an account on any other Amazon site

I've told people at least ten times today to different people!!! Yes it's confirmed, just do it, procrastination is a waste of valuable selling time. Even if it wasn't who cares, it will say 'no you cant sell on Amazon.com'
