amazon seller account linked to buyer account questions
 

I am about to begin to sale on amazon this week,
Plan on making me a amazon stealth account and all,
If some how they linked my stealth back to my home buyer account,
Would i still be able to buy on my amazon buyer account,
Why i ask is because we use amazon all the time to buy things,
I dont plan on getting a suspened account on amazon,
But just incase anything happens down the road,
Just want this question answered before i begin selling, Thanks

We have an Amazon Seller account and an Amazon Buyer account though we've bought items on both. The Amazon Rep asked about it once and I just told him the truth, it belonged to my Teenager and I wasn't aware of it when I started selling on Amazon. Offered to close it but he said it was fine.


Our son created the account a few years back, never mentioned it to me but he buys all his College textbooks on it, video games, etc.. using it.

First thing first here. If you create the Amazon stealth correctly there is no way they could connect the two accounts together. Have you purchased Amazon Ghost yet? If not things are different between Ebay and Amazon account creation methods.

To answer your question though if Amazon suspends the selling privledges you can still buy with it. On my personal Amazon account all in my info it got blocked from selling over a year ago but I can still purchase on it.

I needed to switch my account form a Pro Merchant Account to a Seller Central Account. In order to do this, I had to close all of my listings and Amazon was supposed to close just the buying account. Instead, they closed the entire account. I had to FIGHT to get it re-opened because I had a lot of purchased digital media in the account. Seller Support was completely useless and it took a BBB complaint to get them to fix it. Even though my account was closed, my pre-orders were still active meaning they would still charge me and give me no way of canceling/tracking/etc.

This wasn't due to suspension but dumb reps can certainly cause you to lose your buying priveleges.
