Thoughts about FBA

has anyone used FBA as a new seller? thoughts about it?

Do you think it might make an account more safe?

jeffweico 03-24-2011 09:19 PM

No, if they are going to ban you, it won't make a difference.

Believe it or not,,,That is the LAST thing that Ebay Considers,, I Know it sounds Crazy,, but it is True,,

mycrowman 03-24-2011 11:07 PM

What does this have to do with ebay?

rsot 03-25-2011 09:53 AM

Slapped is just off (rare occasion ha) - eb ay has no relevance here.

FBA relates to Amazon and yes, it can be potentially destructive - if Amazon believes you are selling f*kes, not only can they ban you but they can also AUTO-DESTROY your stocks...if they do let you take back the items, YOU have to pay for shipping.

So all signs point to useless unless you are an authorized seller of something with proof.

I don't sell anything f--ake⊗⊗⊗.I am talking about things made in the US obtained from warehouses, big lots etc

rsot 03-25-2011 10:57 AM

Ah ok - well as long as you have proof - you can go FBA once your account is established. I would not risk Amazon having your items with them until your account is ROCK solid.

They can ban for anything - whether suspicion or bad feedback or etc. Just my suggestion from selling legit stuff too.

My Sincere Apologies, I SAW FBA and in my mind I read FEEDBACK and assumed ebay, NOT Amazon Fulfillment,

Which as Others Here Might Remember My Kingston Memory post where Amazon Confiscated and Destroyed my Memory which they were Fulfilling for me, Because they thought it was ⊗⊗⊗⊗, when in fact it was NOT and DID Not care, what proof I presented, the Back-n-Forth is Still going on, But it seems (as of last week) that I FINALLY got through to someone who sees the TRUTH)

So In essence my Original answer is Still the Same Amazon Could Care Less if they are doing the Fulfillment they will still boot you just the Same,,,

I remem that Kingston Memory debaucle - so you are finally getting somewhere...wow that's good in its own right but still ridiculous in terms of what you have to do to get stuff cleared up.

Like I was telling the OP, FBA is virtually "Fu*ked by Am az on" unless you have rock solid accounts and even then...
