Amazn ordered some stuff from me

Hi guys,

I've just received new order with shipment to the following address:

Ama zon.co.uk
1 9 The Grove
Slough
Berks
SL1 1QP
UK

It's a real amaz on address.. Should I worry or someone who works there might need smth from me for personal use??? What do you think? I sell a lot of this stuff and this guy ordered two items. Maybe they want to check smth???

Dire 04-19-2011 02:28 PM

Some extra info.. I ve checked his name in LinkedIn and I can see that he works as a Business Developper for Amaz on Web Services. Any advice???

ShadyOne 04-19-2011 02:35 PM

Give a hint at what you are selling, I can kind of figure out what you are selling  but your confirmation is all I need to get the full story :thumb:

Why else would you worry :D

:peace:

Dire 04-19-2011 02:50 PM

that's within Electronics )) well I guess it's not just a usual customer order..

ShadyOne 04-19-2011 03:10 PM

I would say you are best to not send it then if their could be a problem when they view it.

Could you cancel the order and stop selling them?

:peace:

Dire 04-19-2011 03:19 PM

well.. of course i can but.. I am not in mood today. I think I will try to fulfill the order and will see, maybe I will kill just one more account. But maybe he ordered for himself and his wife ))) 2 items.. why??? By the way the copies look nice =))

ShadyOne 04-19-2011 03:22 PM

As long as they cannot get your real details after buying the items then yes, you are only killing an account.

Perhaps he has ordered them for him and his wife but he works for Amazon lol he is not the person you want these items going to!

:peace:

Dire 04-19-2011 03:35 PM

I definitely know two things:
1) no original product exists which would match that listing's description
2) I am selling the best copies he could find in the world =)

and one more..
3) f//ck him, he paid he will get, I am a reliable seller )) Will even use Expedited mail service

Thanx ShadyOne for all advice, will let you know when my account is killed

ShadyOne 04-19-2011 03:37 PM

Yeah let me know how it works out :thumb:

:peace:

Dire 04-19-2011 03:39 PM

Will do! =)

Dire 04-19-2011 05:44 PM

Forgot to mention - i've got Amazon Services Europe type of account which allows to see customer's telephone number. So.. i've got his mobile number now. Maybe if he ordered for security check or anything like that he would not leave his number for me?..

Hahah maybe yeah, fingers crossed, perhaps he actually likes the look of your items. :pry:

Take it to walmart and do an exchange with no receipt or go and buy a real copy and call it the cost of doing business. Best way to pass

ShadyOne 04-20-2011 03:58 PM

^^^ He said those options are not available to him...

Good idea for anyone else though.

Dire 04-20-2011 03:59 PM

It's an obvious option and I would definitely go for it if i could. The thing is there is no authentic version of the item in the world which matches the amazon listing's description. Anyway I have already shipped the order and will see what happens =) It's quite interesting. Just want to be on time with my 3000 deposit, let them block my account after i grab it, will open three more, not a prbm. Though that's a pity to lose 100% feedback account...

rsot 04-20-2011 04:27 PM

All the best - keep us posted indeed.

Just curious... since you know this why did you not cancel the transaction? He would likely move onto someone else, not order from you again

Dire 04-21-2011 06:18 AM

Well.. I really want to see what will happen. Why he ordered 2 items? Why he left his mobile number?.. It's interesting, time will show =) And i think he would be able to see that I am fulfilling all other orders and have cancelled his one only.

rsot 04-21-2011 10:53 AM

You should not cancel orders unless absolutely necessary since it can come back to haunt a good account.

Melissa1971 04-21-2011 06:34 PM

This is a weird situation though. I'd have canceled the order but glad he didn't

Now we'll get to see the outcome =}

inthezone 04-21-2011 06:44 PM

Good that you didn't cancel the order. If you did, he would possibly leave you a bad FB and you would get a good amount of attention from amazon. But now, at least you have a chance buddy.

fingerblast 04-23-2011 02:59 PM

Definitely interested to see what happens here.
