Amazon Multi Acct.
 

Alright,

My current Amazon account is in good standing. 50+ postive @ 100%, metrics are all green. I want to create a new account and start as Pro Merchant. In order to offer free shipping and or change shipping rates, one must start as a Pro Merchant. If you start as an individual and just upgrade, you will not be able to change shipping rates.

So i sent a request for a new account, they responded: "Just Upgrade your account". So i guess the "hurry up and buy" or "Thank you come again" guy just sent me an automation email.

I called Amazon again, and the seller rep said "Please try again" :/

Bottom Line: Competition is eating me alive as i write this. I must change to pro-merchant in-order to buy myself food for tomorrow. I am considering going stealth. Done it with e-bay. Im worried about risking a good thing.

I understand what you are saying but what exactly are you asking?

Start new stealth account and spread sales. Make sure you follow the stuff you read about Ama zo n creation because it is a VERY different beast than eb ay. If you don't do it properly, you could lose your main account too.

Thanks for the input. I am thinking i should keep trying with amazon and try to let them let me have 2 active accounts.

I believe they are more likely to let you have two Seller accounts if the second one is not in your name.

I have another Amazon account in my husbands name they are aware of, sold maybe 10-15 items on it. A Rep asked me about it when I phoned in about something else...he beat around the bush asking about another email address that is tied to my account but I knew he meant another amazon account, not just a second email so I said yes my teenager might have an amazon account he no longer uses.

The Rep said I should move my inventory to just one account. I have two seller accounts and one buyer account but I will never login to my other Seller account in my husbands name again (it has his shortened first name with all different info otherwise but it's linked)

The only way I can keep going on Am az on is to keep several accounts on at any time - always different info. Any linkage and the account will be closed.

Just create a few stealth accounts, and spread your sales.
Make sure you read the Amazon Ghost book before, because 1 little mistake can kill all your accounts. But if you do everything as it is in the book, you can have as many accounts and make as much money as you want :). Really. I do, you can do it too.

According to amazon rep over the phone, you can make request to open another account. Reality is you can have 2 if approved. Still a work in progress. Just to clear it things up:

1) I need to have a brand new pro merchant account. To offer free shipping ( Was told over the phone that will not be a good enough reason, so i am working on that part).

Or i can close my account and not have to send a request to have another. Again told on the phone.

So Guys, Here is a question: "Amazon Standards of having a good enough reason to have 2 active accounts".? In other words, i need help to convince them that i need two rather than the single basis of offering free shipping.

Not necessarily. Like I said, I've accidentely logged in 4-5 times on my second Amazon account after selling about 10 items and nothing ever happened to my current Amazon account. He asked in a round about way and I answered him, maybe he thought I'd lie but he was really nice, good sense of humor too. Doesn't deserve to be lied to

So I know that's not necessarily true but is probably the norm

But I've always had over double the average positive feedback so I am thinking that may help.
