Are Amazon Buyers ever suspended or banned?

Just curious....A buyer tried to scam me out of an item, not a high value item. She's succeeded

Her emails are curt, rude actually with an accusation. Oh well.

I refunded her, not worth it and she will be keeping the item since it was already sent

then she hit the cancel transaction button AFTER I refunded her

Seems it's a competitor but the account is under her real name, I did some searching on her

I continued to be sweet then she decided to try to recruit me for this MLM scheme she is involved in, the internet verifies it. Added her phone number and a website address to shop

So anyhow I politely told her that Amazon doesn't allow members to be re-directed to other websites. So she has wrote back inserting my sentence saying she is confused.

I've been searching the participation agreement and I think it may fall under spam not to mention Amazon is strict with sellers not sending customers to other sites. But I wondered if they would ban a customer for directing a seller diverting sales from Amazon? In this case, I guess I would sell with this MLM instead of Amazon also. I am NOT turning her in of course, that would just upset her and I don't care that much

But I'm curious ...
