What is the mac address that amazon trace .
 

I know that amazon do not actually trace my physical mac address of my computer or my dongle because this address is hardwired into the hardware of your computer or dongleduring manufacturing and will never change .
So, after reinstalling windows on my computer i am able to create a new stealth amazon account even though my physical mac address of both my computer and dongle have not changed . This proves that whatever adavanced tracking techniques amazon use it is NOT tracking your physical mac address.

So, what is it that amazon actually trace ?

Interesting point - I had read they trace NIC and yet, your NICs would be the same...

I have heard from members here that Amazon does track the physical address of the first device you use to connect to internet. It will be your wireless router if you use wifi or will be your modem if you connect directly through a wire

And actually you don't have to go for reinstalling your main OS, but using virtual machine such as VMWare instead. Since changing MAC address of the OS on your virtual machine is easy, the process of creating a stealth account will save you more time.
