| anthonychan | 05-18-2011 06:13 AM | Amazon Account Review Hi Guys,
Just wanted to get advice on whether people wih above 100 feedbacks have account reviews.
Does Amazon review accounts which surpasses a certain feedback score?
I've had one review already which went fine, but I would rather do everyhing to ensure I avoid a review.
Any input is appreciated |
| anthonychan | 05-19-2011 11:15 AM | Yeah, the problem I seem to be having now is not knowing whats around the corner - Amazon is a completely different breed.
With eBay as long as the item is in good order and the buyer receives it within a reasonable time frame then a positive feedback just follows.
I've done in excess of 100 sales within the past 7 days and then suddenly realised that no feedbacks are trickling through, i've got 35 feedbacks already (prior to selling the 100) but I would rather reach the 50 mark just to be on the safe side.
I am (very reluctantly) going to send a mass email in the hope of getting some feedbacks - I will however tread with caution as I know this is a last resort,
Afterall, anything that hinders a review is a good thing! |
| Gamefreak | 05-19-2011 02:59 PM | I have 2 accounts with 200+ feedback. My last review was way back in January which was my 3rd. i havent had another review since then.
I cannot answer the question my reviews seem to have stopped. |

I cannot answer the question my reviews seem to have stopped. | Have you had 3 reviews in total or 3 reviews for each account? |
| Axcend | 05-19-2011 09:19 PM | there are only 3 reviews for each account to pass, after that its unlimited selling |
| Gamefreak | 05-19-2011 09:51 PM | Yeah thats 3 on each account. Never had a problem since. I even made the stupid mistake of logging in from a banned IP a few weeks ago and the account is still alive. |

But you are right that there is less scrutiy after that point. So, the account is yours to lose, so to speak. If you work it right, it should be OK. |
| Axcend | 05-20-2011 12:50 PM | Yes those 3 reviews are for velocity limits only. |
| anthonychan | 05-25-2011 09:14 AM | As expected I have a velocity review, i've decided not to appeal as I think it would Be for the best to let things run their cause naturally.
Do you guys think that this is a good idea, I have sent a mass email to request for feedbacks. |
no need to reply to Amz.
in 28 days you'll be good to go. |

Does Amazon send an email hen the review is done? As I did not get an email when my first review was complete. |
| Axcend | 05-25-2011 05:58 PM | yes they will notify you when the review is done and the outcome of it. it is usually 28-30 days. I have a quick favour to ask, I can't seem to find the amazon account review email. Can you post what they sent you? Thanks! |

Greetings from Amazon.
We are writing to let you know that we are conducting a review of your selling account. During the review, a rolling reserve will be applied to funds in your seller account.
The reserve will be equivalent to your gross sales amount for the preceding 14 days. Based on your order volume, the amount of the reserve may change daily.
You can view your account balance and reserve amount in the Payments section of your seller account. When your account balance exceeds the reserve amount, funds will be available per your disbursement schedule.
Account reviews are intended to ensure the timely shipment of orders and compliance with our selling policies. Please continue to fulfill orders and list only items that you are able to ship by or before the Expected Ship Date.
For information on how you may be able to expedite this review, search on “Velocity Limits and Account Reviews” in seller Help.
We will notify you by e-mail when our account review is complete.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation. | |
| Axcend | 05-26-2011 07:06 AM | Oh man you got lucky with the rolling reserve. Normally they just hold all your money for the 30 days. You're gonna be fine no problem at all |
| anthonychan | 05-26-2011 07:40 AM | I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I know a single complaint/negative and even too many refunds can mean the end of the line! | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:08 PM. | |
