Anyone have successufully opened new Amazon accounts lately?

In the previous days I have opened a few new Amazon stealth accounts and only half of them so far has passed.

some asked for bank info === > added bank info ==== > not suspended but inventory pending to appear on searches.

Some did not ask for bank info === > inventory ready in searches, accounts OK.

1 asked bank info ==== > suspended message on Amazon screen at first second but no email regarding suspension ==== > able to list inventory but not appearing on searches.

In short, about only 50% of new accounts are passing the first stages only. All others either suspended or ghosted.

Anyone is experiencing the same issues?

I will keep posting updates as some of those accounts get on green light.

sounds like you have a linking problem. Only the amazon decepticons ban that quickly. Probably an IP or MAC address linking. Also could be what you are listing. Amazon has been known to ban new accounts listing certain items.

No linking problem, I think. Half of new accounts are good, other half is ghosted.

Maybe on Monday they will go thru.

Keep you posted.

maybe they are going through a soft review. I'd say its what you are listing. Try opening an account and list random books with high enough prices that you don't have to worry about them selling. See if your book listings come up immediately. Also sometimes amazon can be delayed and it will take up to 30 minutes for listings to show up

I opened my first AZ account this weekend (stealth) - very straight forward I thought - 10 items listed - no sales yet.

Yes indeed, still can't understand why people like selling on Amazon though, almost every item I try to sell is restricted and can sell with ease on ebay in mugo amounts but at least your on there and got some items up, that's good.

You'd be surprise amazon can be extremely good for certain items, at one point when I was a featured merchant on amazon. I was getting thousands of more sales per month on amazon compared to ebay.

I wish, that was my first account getting banned on there was what brought me here. ^_^

But yeah that was an amazing experience was featured merchant on every electronics items I listed, had about 700 feedback 98%, took about 3-5 months of selling to get featured merchant. Was getting about 20-40 sales a day before featured, after featured was getting 100-150 sales per day.

That is sick indeed - too bad Am az on has such an ugly policy at times.

It was right after christmas, during January they started asking me for proof of merchandise receipts, invoices, reseller license etc.. and they didn't accept the ones I provided them with since it wasn't direct from the manufacturer. Probably cause I made a killing during christmas every day during December with featured merchant was getting 100-200 orders per day minimum. Even ended up hiring my friend to work for me to help ship all the stuff for me cause I couldn't handle it all myself.

i personally have had more luck with amazon then ive had with ebay selling the same items. Buyers seem to not care about feedback nearly as much which is a plus for having a new account
