Accounts keep getting suspended

So I am running into a problem with Amazon.

I had a non-stealth account that got suspended . I'm quite savy with comes to computer and know how to go anonymous when needed, so linking is not the issue here. Never the less, I bought the guide and did pick up on a few things I wasn't aware of. Very helpful guide.

STEALTH ACCOUNTS

Account 1.
I proceeded to create a stealth account and the account was going well, until I sold a couple sets of "beats" for a buddy (mind you both were "used" but, not exactly the "original" if you know what I mean). This is not my usual category and I was aware the maker of beats are pretty strict so I took a risk and got suspended. The important part of this story is that my account was fine until I sold the beats. :nono:

Account 2.
No problem, I proceed and create another stealth account. Account is still active. I opted for the slow pace on this one, stay under $750. I got up to $600 in sales and made it inactive. All good here. :pop2:

Account 3.
I go to create stealth account number 3 and I got suspended within minutes of listing my items. Copyright violation. :rip:

Account 4.
Same story as account 3. :rip:

Account 5.
Same story. as account 3 & 4. :rip:

Accounts 3 to 5. have the same items listed as Account 2. which is not suspended + 5 new products.

Before I create account Account 6. I figure I'd post here and ask for some advice. My guess here is that one or more of the 5 new products are triggering a copyright violation.

Any thoughts on the matter? I sell in "beauty" category and it's not makeup. . :pry:

What's everyone's opinion?

GrannyT 06-07-2011 10:25 AM

If they are Mac brushes (and I'm not saying they are) - that is your problem:pop2:

illa 06-07-2011 10:29 AM

I've heard MAC is a no no, but in any case, it isn't makeup related.

illa 06-08-2011 12:16 AM

I created Account 6 and it got suspended right away, I listed some of the same items (6 of 20) and a few random books. I got suspended within the hour.

I'm not being linked, I keep violating copyright policy.

The items I've listed are items I have listed successfully in the past.

I don't understand what I am doing wrong. :noidea:

Not wishing to sound flippant but stop violating copyright policy. Obviously what went before is not going now

lol, spoken like a wiseman :FF:

You're right and that's what I am trying to avoid, the issue is, my sellable inventory is the same.

I created Account 7. and posted only 1 of the 20 different items I have, 8 hrs later, so far so good. :thumb:

I can post a few more books and stuff like that to switch it up, but I am afraid to list any more of my "sellable" inventory. At what point can I start posting them?

GrannyT 06-08-2011 10:13 AM

I would say OP that you are in deep chicken poo with that inventory of yours. How many times can you afford to get chucked off before you 'review the situation' (as Fagin would say)
:pop2:

illa 06-09-2011 10:56 AM

It's been over a day and Account 7 still up

I added a second item... 8 hrs since added and still good :thumb:

I'll keep adding an item every 24 hrs, this is kind of like watching grass grow. :pop2:

Good to know I'm not the only one with this problem

I just want to zero in on the product that's causing this :bored:

I know someone who does nothing but sell p90xs. He power sells like crazy and just balls to the wall on as many accounts a day as he can. He has had accounts last 5 minutes and he has had an account that lasted 9 months. In the end you are going to get squashed if you don't majorly change up your sales tactics. You have 2 choices really: 1. balls to the wall in and just wait 3 months to get your money (don't have to waste any bank accounts). Or 2. study what legitimate sellers are selling in your category and copy them. what you are doing now obviously isn't working, so figure out how to minimize the damage. If you are just trying to get rid of the rest of your inventory, then I would say just powersell until you are sold out. That would be the easiest least time consuming.

And that someone you know is yourself - props at least to keep pushing on in spite of that hard product.

Good advice! :thumb:

My ultimate goal is to stay under the radar with two accounts so I can get constant income and in between go balls out with "extra" stealth accounts. The problem is, my freaking accounts don't tend to stay up for more than an hour.

Account 7 went down :rip: after I listed my third item, which is strange because I considered that paricular item "safe". They can't possibly have picked me up based on the 3 items I listed. I didn't post the same price nor did I post in same listing. I assume it's the item itself as there aren't many sellers selling it it seems like (but there never was).

Time for Account 8 - I'll avoid the "suspicious" item and see what happens. :pry:

There has to be a way around the river, just wish I could get there faster :D

Giardino 06-11-2011 02:23 AM

Sorry but whats MAC?

jbluntz 06-11-2011 02:43 AM

It's a designer makeup line commonly sold on ebay and don't worry you won't get rich selling it.

Unless your name is Moses, you dont go 'fast' around the river or thro' it.

You use the river to whatever ends possible to not be breached.:amen:

Account 8 went down a few days ago, went up to 3 itmes for sale after 3 days and bam! suspended 1-2 hrs after listing item 3.

Account 9, I list 2 different items along with tons of books and random junk. Suspended within 2hrs

Account 10, I list 1 different item with quite a bit of books. One sale and immidiate suspension.

At this point, obviously it's the category. I used to sell heavily here but for some reason I can't get back on. I see others selling... but I just can't stick around.

I need help, because I'm about to raise the white flag :surrender:

Quick edit: I don't even have time to powersell on this mofo. I get suspended way too quick.

Build some feedback first, one way or another. I have some buyer accounts and build some feedback before starting to actually list and sell stuff.
If you have feedback, stay away from "bad products" (the ones that get you suspended right away) and stay below the velocity limits, most likely you will not even get reviewed.

Good luck!

newtools 06-15-2011 05:31 AM

since your oviously not able to sell there anymore what is the category and or product? that may be your problem. Amazon software can recognize patterns. you have to take your time, switch it up and use diff techniques.

Also wait some time after making an acct and let it sit, as amazon knows scammers want the quick and easy way and to just grab the $$. Which is what you are doing. Im just saying what it looks like in amazons eyes as their software calculates risk.

They know you are from a certain state, region and ip range, and together with other factors they have a probability that it's you.

Take your time and do it slow. Slow & steady wins the race!!

Good tips, thanks guys!

I have seen a tons of New stealth accts pop up in the last couple of days - and its sooo obvious its the same person. They are all from: United States: minor outlining islands. If this is you I can see why you keep loosing accts...
