Reserve amount?
 

I have been selling on amazon for 5 to 6 months now no issues.
Have 11 postive reviews and no neagtive feedback at all.
I sold 2 items 2 days ago and i notice today my money is in Reserve amount.
It has been 2 days like this and i cant send it to my bank.
Has this happened to anyone else and what does it mean.

I had 1 A-to-z Guarantee Claims because some girl sent her boxset back.
They didnt even tell me it was sent back and havent any gotten it.
I refunded it soon as i got it and that caused no issues at all.
You think amazon is looking at that even thou nothing happened.

Your order defect rate is probably HIGH due to that A-Z claim even if you refunded the buyer right away.

Yes an A-to-Z guarantee claim could impose an automatic rolling reserve on your account...luckily you were not banned outright.

yeah i dont sale a ton of merchandise a month.
I think in 5 to 6 months only made $1400 or something.
So 1 claim that was only on there for less than 1 day.
I took care of the refund at once soon as she said it was sent back.
Went and checked my ups store box and it was there.

This girl really messed up my account.
I told her i would refund her once i got it.
Somtimes customers are just too jumpy and wanna hit that button.
Nothing was wrong with the dvd boxset she sent it back after a month.

Yep i have like 5 names on my store box account last time i looked.
Just varations of my names and few other ones.
Been using ups store box for a good while now and no issues.
You just tell them what names to add on the box when you open it.
I am about to renew my box next month.

You most certainly can, A-Z is worst than a negative. It affect all type of metrics in your account and since you dont sell a lot its extremely damaging.

Amazon is probably just protecting itself incase you have more issues with the little transaction history that you have.

Same crap happened to me on my new account with an idiot buyer 2 weeks ago. I buyer messed up my perfect account. Now my metrics sucks a$$ an amazon is threatening to suspend me.

UPS Store allows you to make the box look like a physical address?

Say instead p.o. box 101 - you can write 101A-XXXX Street name or 101B-XXXX etc?

Well they told me i can make it look like apt number if i wanted too.
They really dont care it will get there.
Meaning my box number only and cut off there store number.
Which is kind of funny.
Each ups store box is local owned far as i can tell.

The girl was a ripoff con artist anyways.
She kept telling me she was sending it back for a month.
I kept checking and nothing and it final shows up.
Sending back some dvds after a month of keeping them,real classy.
So should i go make up a back up amazon account now or what?
How long will they keep my money in reserve you think?
I had made sales since that claim and got my money out just fine.
It doesnt say my account is under review or anything.
Honestly dont understand how amazon works sometimes.
Good reviews are for nothing.

Our UPS Store does the same thing. When you send an item at their store, they take your phone number and keep track of all your shipments. They also put their own address as the return address so when/if arrives back, they call you. It's part of their service I didn't care for at first. Then I realized ANYTHING that came back I would be called about so I used their address for a stealth account. Works if they know you well enough to recognize your name and if the store has employees, otherwise owners in my opinion are more likely to look into things.

Anyone how long they will keep my money.
Says Next settlement date is june 29th which is next week.
Should i expect to be held for a month or more.
Guess ill move back to ebay till i get a 2nd amazon account going.
Least my paypal account doesnt hold my funds any longer.

I suspect that due to the A-Z they will hold your money for 30 days, if no problems occurs during the 30 days then they will release it.

So each time they will hold it for 30 days then after that?

Yes but A-Z claims are very rare. I've only had one so far. Compared to Paypal, Amazon hardly ever holds funds.

I hope the A-Z claims can come off my account soon.
How long does that normaly take i wonder to come off the account?
I guess time to start selling on a 2nd account till this one is fixed.
Still cant believe some people who are so quick to open such a case.
I told them once i get it back i will refund them.

if it is just the amount you refunded that is being held, it is normally 30-60 days
it is only tell they see an improvement in your account, its there safety measure, nothing to worry about, if it is a 14 rolling hold, it will be released after 14 days, the more pos feedbacks you receive during the 14 day rolling hold the less time they hold it, i have one account where it is now 7 days instead of 14, i suspect it is the 30-60 hold as there was no warning though.

Make sure you buy the amazon ghost book before opening a second account, it is very different to ebay, it took me a while to understand and many being liked and booted, i have a quite few amazon accounts now, Buy it

I noticed today failed disbursement for the money i was waiting for.
This happen to anyone?
Never had this happen before on amazon at all going to my bank.
It just seems i will never get my money from amazon now.

UPS box is also good for receiving regular mail? So it is liek a local mom and pops mailbox store except under the UPs banner - nice.

I only really use the ups store if i have a return or something.
Also use it to get packages i may order from suppliers.
I guess it will work for regular mail just fine no reason why it would not.
Notice that ups store mail boxes are way cheaper than postnet.
I was in a postnet other day and compared some prices.
