amazon will be now be dispersement once a week, and you can't request dsipersment anymore.

Important Information about your Amazon.com Seller Account

Beginning August 15, 2011, we will start automatically disbursing funds to Individual sellers more frequently: once every 7 days instead of every 14 days.

Each automatic weekly disbursement will reflect the net proceeds for orders you confirmed as shipped between 14 and 21 days prior to the disbursement date.

Because we will be disbursing funds weekly, we will be removing the "Request Disbursement" button from the Finance page in your seller account.

WTF! thats total bull! I guess its to keep scammers away.. :-(

it's a problem for me becuase I use dropshippers

individual sellers is the key, they are trying to get people to go pro for the $40 a month as it gives you more control. They will careless if you get suspended a bunch of times as they take $40 out of your payments acct everytime they suspend you for the months pro acct.

So pro merchant accts can disburse every 24 hrs?

Would suck if this happens as I would get more than 10k in any given week of sales. :-9

More like a paycheck, once a week. At least it is not every 14 days,that would be bad.

I upgraded to pro status, but they are updating I will report any new info about selling under pro

Yea. This does suck. Would be nice to know how the Pro Status will work. Cause if I have to update my amazon accounts to Pro to continue selling and disbursing when I want to or atleast every 24 hours, then thats cool with me. The extra $40 a month would be worth it.

per an email convo I had with customer support, the pro sellers who pay the monthly fee will still have access to 24 hour disbursements.

I thought pro seller only got 14 day disbursements and the on demand option was not available.?

NO ar 123, you're referring to the seller central accounts. That the the real pro account. Auto disbursement and able to change shipping charge.

I just signed up for the Amazon Pro Merchant.



So after my initial 14-days, will I be able to manual disburse every 24 hours?

Well really I got that answer out of ONE of the techs I spoke with. It seems the rest of the people from the cust. service department there are kind of....lost.

they rather put more of the control into accts they will make the most from, The pro accts

More reason to make you upgrade. $40 per acct per month no matter how much u sell. and if you do not know what you are doing and get suspended they take the $40 out of what ever is in your payments acct. no matter what.

They know ghost accts exist, but they know they will get $40 per acct out of every acct that gets burned even if you only sell $40 worth of stuff. So know what you are doing.

Other wise an individual seller acct gives u less control, reports and other features but you will only be paid for proceeds for days 1 - 14 of sales at day 21. so its weeks weeks behind. Then you get paid every 7 days for the sales. so you will always be behind!

This is probly to ensure customers are getting their items....

As a seller who hasnt upgraded his accounts yet, can someone confirm whether or not the pro accounts have the 24 hour option still?

I read somewhere that they are delaying the new disbursement rules. Maybe I had a dream or something.

Nope. It wasnt a dream. It says it on the seller home page. I made a thread about it the day the notice was put up.
