| mrshadows | 08-14-2011 11:55 PM | has your amazon account ever vanished? I have had a few amazon accounts just dissapear lately.
when you go to put the password into an exsiting seller account
it does not work, the account seems to have been deleted by amazon.
Has this ever happened to you? I did not even get a (#300,000,000) suspension notice.Amazon appears to just delete your account with no warning. |
| Road-Kill | 08-15-2011 12:48 AM | Yeah they do that with the accounts that are the easiest to link.
They probably figure you have gotten enough notices with lifetime bans already and that didn't discourage you. So unless they threaten you with going to hell or something, there isn't much they can add to the e-mail. |
| Kickboxerfighter | 08-18-2011 10:33 PM | I'm having same problem. It's sucks!! |
| poorgirl | 08-19-2011 10:28 PM | The thread link you gave only can be read by subscribe members...... |

I really dont know why they would completely just make an account dissapear. This has never happened to me personally. I have always had access to the account even when it was blocked, plus I always had my buying prevliges. |
| thousand-face | 08-23-2011 07:03 AM | Amazon use to black account when you are registered your account, now they change the strategy looking and blocking once you reach your limit. |

| GreenBean | 08-23-2011 07:51 AM | typo: black= BLOCK? :spy:
Dunno. |

Not sure if that makes sense, my stint on Amazon was very short :noidea: |
| Rgivens | 08-24-2011 12:12 AM | This is an impossible thread. This just doesn't happen if you have funds on the account. |

I know that they will and have done this for a FACT. |

| GreenBean | 08-24-2011 12:46 AM | Rgivens,
I understand you have an indepth knowledge of amazon.
However be careful of calling out users because you disagree with statements.
HWGA showed me info regarding accounts. Other users confirmed similar stories.
Now either they were party to a hoax or maybe there is some info missing.
I can qualify HWGA's statement that funds were in the account. I can confirm the same for other users.
One point on this forum is BS is not welcomed or needed. Users making unfounded claims have no place here and are found out. There's been no reason for HWGA to make such claims merely to attract attention. Neither was there reason for other users.
If you could explain your reasons, we can organize a toe kissing party:juggle: |
| Rgivens | 08-24-2011 12:54 AM | It's just aggravating to know people actually manipulate others into believing Amazon can legally remove your hard-earned funds for no reason at all... That's highly illegal, regardless if you're using their marketplace or not. |
| GreenBean | 08-24-2011 01:14 AM | That's not an answer is it?
You're the only user getting aggravated.
Prove to me that the users who told me about their accounts were manipulating facts.
Prove to me it is not YOU that is doing the manipulation.
I feel that would be fair for all concerned.:amen: |

Amazon can still pay out after 90 days and provide a accounting at the time. Not letting users access banned accounts has nothing to do with paying them. |
| jbluntz | 08-24-2011 01:44 AM | Maybe the accounts got hacked, could be possible.. |

So what you're implying is the OP had accounts vanish, then after 90 days, it just magically re-appears again? If that's the case, I'm fine with that. |
| Kickboxerfighter | 08-24-2011 03:48 AM | Not going good! Loads of my account gone!! Hard eared money in them...I have started email, just takes it's time I hope |
| Kickboxerfighter | 08-24-2011 03:50 AM | Just hope there is a chance |
Given HWGA's experience and longetivity and my own recent experience, the deletion/block happens - still trying to crack through it. |

But I lost over 10= accounts earlier this year.
There were over 10+ thousand dollars in those 10+ accounts.
The info is there and the accounts are GONE - right along with the money.... |

My 10+ is still locked/lost in those 10+ Amazon accounts that vanished earlier this year. |
| Road-Kill | 08-24-2011 07:50 AM | Has anyone that had accounts vanish, not get paid after 90 days? Not being to log-in is a minor issue for me,
Not getting paid is a BIG issue and a game changer. |
| First Edition | 08-24-2011 10:10 AM | road-kill.... a bit of advice....
We're all for arguing, it's a forum after all. But you blatlently telling a senior member he's an idiot and whats illegal and no possible really makes a lot of people mad. Simple fact, I've been doing this long enough where I am not naive enough to ever say that paypal ebay amazon or anyone can't or won't do anything. These accounts and sites are not in your control, they CAN do anything. |

Thread has gone along nicely so let's keep it going that way. |

Amazon cannot simply take your money when you have fullfilled your orders, however per their user agreement they can suspend you for ANY reason and place a hold up to 90 days on any remaining funds to cover any chargebacks.
What they do is they deny you access to your account. You are unable to login to your Amazon Seller account. Every time you try to login it tells you a user with this email and password does not exist in our system.
If you use the password reset option, it will even allow you to reset your password, but when you go to login after resetting your password you still get the same "an account with this email and password does not exist in our system" message.
After 90 days from the date your account was initially blocked, if you added a bank account to the account prior to them blocking access to your account funds will be disbursed to the account on file.
If you were unable to add a bank account before they blocked access, you will have to contact them after 90 days, and they will restore access to your account for 24 hours for you to add a bank account to disburse your funds.
So yes, they do DELETE/BLOCK your account to where you have no access. However, they DO give you your money back after the 90 days. |
My current problem is that one account has 5 orders for which I shipped but I cannot log-in to confirm...anyhow... |
| Road-Kill | 08-24-2011 12:39 PM | I always confirm shipments in the morning. Ship late in the day. Edit shipping info in the evening.
I hate getting the "my tracking numbers don't work e-mails" |

However, please keep in mind that they can "delay" to pay you in the length they like with whatever reason they decide to throw at you. I believe in at least 90% of the cases, if you fulfill the shipments and have no A-Z claims, you will get the money back after initial 90 days hold. |

I have 10+ accounts with Amazon that all total contain 10+K in payments.
These 10+ accounts were deleted by amazon after that were blocked after they were suspended.
I can not log into them what so ever.
They are stuck in the password reset endless loop.
I went so far as to talk to Amazon Customer Service about 1 of these accounts.
I was told that they were blocked and restricted and until the restriction was lifted by their Customer Safety dept I would not have access to this account.
This is the same on the 10+ accounts.
The 90 cash lock was up in March of 2011. It is now almost September of 2011.
6 months + 90 days = 9 months.
So why has Amazon in essence stolen 10+K from me?
I can not get them to release my money no matter how many times I email them or call them.
I have already written the 10+K off as a loss and a expensive lesson learned.
What they should do and what reality is are sometimes very different. |
