I just recieved saying they just ordered about 15 minutes and wanted to know how soon I can ship, but amazon has not notified me of an order, when I loggged in the 1 item had item been removed my invesntory as if it had been ordered but no order was recorded. WTF!

That is a WFT! I hope no one has hacked your account. Thats all I can think of. Also maybe email the 'buyer' and ask some questions... I am certain you have double checked to make sure you have not made an error.

Prob the payment is pending verification of the buyer's credit card - wait for the update.

When I have had these 'pending' situations, I have always received an email from Amazon explaining not to send out until everything clears.

OP - check your junk email folder.

Also you know you can see these type of pending orders.
Go to Manage Orders>Advanced>"Include Pending Orders"> OK

Then your order list will contain all of your pending orders.
You can then select that to be your default view on your Manage Orders page.

Helps a lot....

Just FYI....
Most orders on a new Amazon account are held for a few hours (1-8).
That is normal.

You can check at advanced search as mentioned above all pending orders.

When you get the email thou with "Sold - Do not ship now", it means their credit card couldn't be verified and they need to change card or put proper billing, and after it it will try to charge again.
