Account review for buying Amazon gift cards
 

I've been using Amazon to buy goods for resale...been going pretty well, but once I switched from using Amazon GCs to using prepaid Visa GCs (to buy Amazon GCs to purchase goods) I ran into problems. First order of $1K - sent out almost immidiately. 2nd order of $500 took 12 hours. 3rd order of 1$K triggered account suspension and review. They emailed me asking to send in:
Name as it appears on your credit or debit card
* Address on file with the card issuer
* The customer service phone number for your financial institution.

I emailed them saying that it's a prepaid card without statements, and supplied the rest of the information via email. We'll see what happens...

Anybody else go through something like that? The cards are legit, but I'm worried they'll just close the account anyway.

it happens.. never use new accounts to buy.

Or sell. :) Is there a usual trajectory how these things develop?
