If I refund, can buyer leave feedback?
 

A buyer is giving me hard time about a used book she bought. I wrote the condition as "Like New albeit slight discoloration form storage". It was actually a new book but was weathered because it had been in storage for years. So because of that I sold is as like new. Now comes this buyer who said that the book was torn in some pages and it had no cellophane. I didn't know books came with cellophanes and for short she is trying to worm her way out of it because I packed the item (with love as I usually do) myself. She is asking for a replacement of another book (more expensive) in my store and making a fuss about paying for the return shipping and saying the book was supposed to be a gift. She does not want to pay for the other book first, she wants that exchange and just chalk out the difference.

Long story short, if I issue a refund, just to be rid of her, will she be able to leave feedback? This woman is terrible. I am under review for this stealth and don't want to botch things.

Yes they can still leave feedback. While I know it is frustrating dealing with some of your buyers you should ask yourself is the price of a brand new book worth having a negative or neutral feedback placed on your account?

The book is a gardening out of print book. It is 125.00 and the one she has is only 89.00. She wants me to send the replacement before she sends back the book she bought. I doubt if she will return it. This is the first time I encountered such a person. Should I be out almost 200 just for one feedback?
