I think Amazon Uses this in determining who to suspend
 

I just registered 3 weeks ago on Amazon. I listed some high value electronics on the 12th day. On the 13th day, I sold one item. Instantly, I was 'suspended'. As I looked through my account, I realized that one of my items were still listed for sale, so I deleted the other (product was probably a no no). Minutes later, my account was unsuspended. On the 14th day, 3 things happened:

1) I sold the rest of my inventory
2) I was hit with the 'reserve'
3) They only held ONE payment and sent me an e-mail saying they were sending me the rest.

I said all of that to say this - This is my first time on Amazon, I registered as a Pro, used all of my real information and everything seems to be going okay thus far. I think Amazon uses public information/public records when deciding who to boot off. If they can't verify your identity through public records, that's probably why they suspend you. I think PayPal does the same. They check your name against your address/telephone number to ensure you are a real person. If not BAM, suspended/limited.

If this would be the case,lot of us on the forum would be suspended. It must be other things.
I think high value electronics on the 12th day is a big no-no. Especially with no feedback.

I haven't had any issues as of yet (crossing fingers and toes) lol. This was on Sunday, funds were disbursed on Tuesday. I guess another thing is that what I sell, Amazon doesn't.

We know that eBay uses public records for verifiication. Amazon has, so far, relied more on their technology to screen people out. But maybe the OP is right. Amazon may be implementing something new.

The more knowledge we have, the more workarounds we can find.
