Whats going on with amazon?!??!

I've had quite a few amazon accounts.... my process is simple...
I use a new virtual machine
I use dial up internet and get a different IP everytime
I use a gmail address and google voice number
I buy a vcc from someone here...
whatever address i google up
and some variation of my first name, middle name, last name - pretty different each...

First account shutdown after listing first item.... just couldn't login to my seller account even after changing password... I think i got a contact TAM message or something.

Second account shutdown today after i already listed about 20 items... I even SOLD one item and delivered it.

Neither had a bank account attached yet.

What's going on? Any suggestions?

and by shutdown i mean i can't login to my seller account... after several attempts it says something about contacting TAM and verifying identity or something?

I don't know......
Try searching for deleted Amazon account.

Maybe you will find a few hundred hits on this forum since that has been talked about for almost a year.

If you do a little research on your you would be AMAZED at what you might find.

I am - but for the life of me I can't figure out why just now?!?!? I haven't changed anything..... Do you think it has to do with the vcc's i'm getting from here? Apparently after 24 hours they don't work any more? This hadn't been an issue in the past 10 months, why now? What can I do or change?

Amazon is ALWAYS tighter on security during the holiday season.

TAM is their abbreviation for Technical Assistance Management, a/k/a seller support.

But, YES, the fact that your accounts were deleted (as opposed to simply suspended) means that Amazon saw something they REALLY didn't like.

What were you listing? Not specific items, but what CATEGORY?

From what i am reading alot of people are not setting up there amazon account correctly when using stealth and vmware, read Amazon Ghost and keep rereading it until you understand it, i have just opened up to new accounts in the last week, both with sales and are still up and running

@OP, as HWGA search does yield a LOT of results - as for your problem, I can safely say that VCCs are a significant problem with AZ right now.

could be you set up right and the "ITEM" is the problem. Not fun but keep trying maybe one will pull through. I would suggest try listing a less risky item and see what happens
