New Wifi Tablet = New MAC address?
 

I am considering buying a cheap tablet to use for my Amazon G account. I use wifi though. My question is, will Amazon see me as having the same MAC address that is on my router, or will they see my NEW MAC address from the tablet PC. Just wanna know if this will work before I dish out the money on a piece of crap tablet.

Just changing to a new device is not enough.

it's a long way and many many other devices between your pc and their servers, they just can't see this. mac address can be seen inside the same net only.
they are not even unique and can be the same...

not sure about tablets, but they must have new mac' address on them

I know the device would have a new mac address. I guess I should ask this... when they see my MAC address now, are they seeing my computer's MAC or are they seeing my router's MAC?

if you want a new ip change the router mac
