Can Amazon relate buyers' and sellers' accounts?
 

I had a seller account with Amaz()n once that has been suspended.
I tried to open another marketplace account with my wife's buyer account. That was before I found this forum so the other account didn't pass the creation step with infamous Error 2 and was never opened. We retained my wife's buyer's account to do all Amazon purchases.

Yesterday I finally managed to open a marketplace account. So the question goes: Is there any chance Amaz()n can relate my wife's buyer's account to my marketplace account. She accesses Amaz()n from her laptop and I only plan to use a desktop downstairs to access my sellers account.

In a word, yes they can since you are using the same internet connection...same ip address right ?? Plus if you use the same seller/buyer address for the two accounts, that creates a link to the suspended account.

I agree - link still is possible - will they ban? Probably not.

To add more details:
IP address is different from the one I had when marketpl@ce account was banned. Actually, I have a new router (different brand) and I also renewed a MAC/IP right before creating a new marketpl@ce account (just in case).

My wife's laptop which she uses to buy stuff was never used as a seller's account.
The shipping Addresses are different between my wife's consumer account and my marketpl@ce account, so in short, I only concerned if these 2 can be linked because they share the same router.

If I had a "real" credit card attached to Amazon seller's account, I could use that one for purchasing, but that CC is a reloadable AMEX card and has a finite amount on it.
