Bank "name"

Not very versed in Amazon so this may be a stupid question:

I added a new bank account to Amazon and along with routing and account it had a spot for account holder name. Or something like that

Do they send the payment with that name? That sounds pretty handy for a bank in another name and would avoid it bouncing back

Just curious on this and if it has any real bearing on transfer

I have received payments in different names from what is actually on the bank account, no problem. Maybe depends on bank? I use B of A and HSBC

Ya, I understand that. Done it a ton. But I have never seen the option to add name yourself. Was curious if thats the info bank will get

Some banks do have issue with name.

That is the name the banks get on the send receipt.

Thats cool. Avoids the occasional wrong name bounce back...
