Amazon has new tracking methods or what?
 

Now Im really going crazy.

Not first and not second Amazon account but I cannot figure out what I missed here.

I'm using Logmein to a different computer (a server) that is not used by anybody just me. (I did that with my other account that lasted 5, almost 6 months.)

New name, not even close to mine.

Address is close to the IP of the server.

Different bank account, different card.

Different items, all I sold is some used books totaling 17 dls.

After the 14 days initial hold I got reimbursed yesterday,today the message says:You linked!

In this point,it makes no sense. how and what?

What kind of card used to register?

Amazon gets super suspicious this time of year. Stuff that might have worked 1-2 months ago may not work this time of year.

@rsot-Capital One. I never used it with them before not even for purchase.

Ok so it was a physical card. This is baffling to figure out then.

Maybe somebody in the same physical location where the server is used their computer for blocked am.That is the only thing I can figure.

If the computers are all on the same server, maybe amazon MAC address tracking is linking that way. Do a quick lookup of all network connections 'ipconfig /all' from anywhere in the terminal/DOS emulator on a couple different of the computers you in to look for anything similar

Knowing how Amazon can be around Christmastime, it might be best to wait until after Christmas to set up any new accounts.

I keep asking how it's possible they track your MAC please??? MAC of what?? net card, router, what?

MAC address of anything connected to the computer hard wired or wirelessly or anything on the same network, i.e. printers cause a lot of linking.

They track your MAC address through java I believe. I'm not 100% sure how but it has been long confirmed

@Axcend -I was using the same printer thru logmein. Is it possible?:doh::doh::doh:

How are you changing the ip on the server? Using the same printer can't link you.

@cardfelon-Maybe I wasnt clear. The other blocked account was from a different server in a different location.So no need to change the IP.
