Kindle as a gift question

If I buy someone a Kindle as a gift and give it to them unregistered and let's say my account gets suspended, does this affect the gift Kindle as well, even though it is not registered to me?

Have not seen that happen - only issue is your order may not be processed...so gift would not be sent out.
