Unfortunately, there is no list. But you can assume the following are on the restricted list:

*All Adobe products CS4 and later, and likely some CS3 products.
*Many CS2 Adobe products, as these were heavily counterfeited and created mucho headaches for Amazon. Especially Photoshop CS2
*Mixed bag in Microsoft, with many 2007 items and probably all 2010 items restricted. 2003 is mostly open, as far as I remember, but some listings will be restricted
*You will probably not get approval, ever, to list in certain, super-restricted listings. Items that were *heavily* counterfeited, such as Windows XP Pro SP2, will not be opened to you or any mere mortal any time soon. Even if you are already approved to sell in other software listings.

Your best bet is to run a very clean ship and work towards approval. Approval includes a long list of requirements, including, if I remember correctly, 100 transactions in last 6 months. Selling software on Amazon is a serious, dedicated effort. Don't even THINK of selling counterfeits!!! You will get caught asap and just lock up more listings for the rest of us.

There's no secrets; it's about being in the right market to have access to legitimate software. I live in Seattle, close to Microsoft headquarters and also large Adobe offices. A big contingent of designers and productivity software users also provide a steady influx of used, resellable software. I wish there some sort of shortcuts, but there aren't.

Although I am approved to sell all software on all my accounts with no restrictions. I also had a very good pipeline to the most sought after titles. I stopped offering these items because not only is Amazon paranoid about knockoffs, so are the buyers. This can lead to very tense situations when an idiot buyer, of which I've had quite a few, can't seem to figure out how to install the program, which immediately leads to them thinking that it is a counterfeit.

Yes, it is a laboring effort to get approved, but the profit margin isn't worth the stress and headaches that go along with it. I've managed to come across some very profitable niche items that sell very well, and are virtually stress free. Software, and high end electronics are a huge hassle. On my known repeat reliable buyers, I will still offer whatever they need on request, the general Amazon buying public is just too retarded to give them the opportunity to destroy my accounts.

So in closing, stay away from software, and sell something safe like pet supplies. You'd be surprised how much money can be made in this category.

He is obviously try to find a list of counterfeitable items to sell, it's quite literally one of the most overused and obvious excuse in the book

Yes, but these items are so highly restricted that getting approved to sell them, and then selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗, only to be knocked off by Amazon ten days later, makes no sense at all!!!!
