VMware

Hello! I've ran into a problem well trying to to set up vmware in preperation for another account. Its been driving me crazy today and any input would be great...

I have an amazon account already, set up on a spare computer with Technitium spoofing the mac address and dongle to connect. All is fine with this account, but never hurts to get a backup up and running, which has led to some problems.

I've Installed VMWare Player today and then XP onto it, then noticed within the main system (not the virtual) that additional network adapters had been added. These VMWare adapters were active having checked with both SMAC and Technitium.

I'm correct in thinking anything other than the spoofed mac needs to be disabled for the main/current amazon account within the main system (not virtual) to continue without any link?

Which has led to the problem, these additional virtual adapters that vmware created are active still in the main system. I have tried to disable them to which i've got mixed results...

Technitium- shows the 'link status' of them as disabled
SMAC (which I only tried today) shows them as 'Active' on the left side as yes, but under active MAC on the right its blank.

So i'm not really sure how to proceed....

Are they actually disabled and won't cause any problems with the current account I have? or do I need to spoof these to?

and then if these are actually disabled, will that then mean i wont be able to use these for a new account that was going to be set up on VMWARE?

any help with this would be great, not sure what to do, a back up account with be great but not worth losing/linking the current one. I couldn't find any other posts with similar problems, so guessing most people are just using VMWARE for all accounts and not normal system with additional vmware accounts?

You do not have to disable anything on the host system.
You go inside the Control Panel on the guest OS and disable everything there, leaving only 1 active network adapter, the one that is necessary to have internet connection.
You install SMAC on the guest OS and spoof that active MAC.

Amazon can only see what's inside your guest OS, and there you only have 1 active network adapter, which has a clean MAC (because you spoofed it).

^^^^^^^^^^^
Or you can just spoof ALL the MAC's on your guest O/S

what Alnev says makes sense and work for you.

If i am not mistaken Vmware gives a different mac address for every vmware machine/operating system you create, you just need new ip, if i am wrong please let me know.
