How to deal with competitor buying to leave negative feedback

How to deal with competitor buying to leave negative feedback

A competitor bought an item from me an claimed it was ⊗⊗⊗⊗ then promised not to leave negative feedback if I refunded. He kept emailing me saying I should not sell my products for 6 or 7 dollars as “seller like me would not last and wanted me to charge more. He ended up leaving negative feedback & I think he contacted amazon and got me suspended. I had like afew other claims of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ over 5,000 sales / 97% positive feedback. He ended up getting me suspended from my amazon account.

I opened a new account. After 7 days the buyer purchased the same product from me. I relised this & refunded the order & canceled the shipping / tracking. I told him I don't have the item in stock

I contacted amazon & reported this. They said there is no history of the buyer doing this & they buy a lot form amazon & they cant do anything.

I googled the name & amazon and I found they used to sell in same category as me until 2 months ago in high volume / but there was no feedback last 2 months so I guess account is suspended as a seller.

There is only afew featured seller selling the same items & 1 happens to ship from NY (same place as the buyer). I purchased 1 item from the from amazon (from my real account) so I some insurance against future feedback. I also found their ebay account (selling the same things as ebay). I plan on buying from their ebay account for further insurance.

How can I handle this situation?

Do exactly what you are doing. If the buyer continues to purchase stop listing for awhile or sell something else. Icant believe this one buyer got you canned. you must have had prior complaints

What is it are you actually selling by the way?

If it is the same buyer and if he keeps buying and opening claims, Amazon will eventually notice and lock out his whole account.

The buyer purchased from me march 10th in the the old account.

I had a few others complains of selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ but not many from 5,000 items. had 97% rating

1 week after i opened new account they buyer bought from my new account

I have identified their current ebay & amazon account. I have bought 1 item from their amazon. Plan to have my friends buy more.

The thing is there is only afew featured seller selling that brand so it wasn't hard figuring out who it is.

Amazon was no help when i called them.
