Using wifi
 

I saw in the amazon stealth book that it is ok to use someone else's wifi (starbucks - mcdonalds etc).

I just set up a new ebay/pp acct today (after cleaning cookies, flash cookies, changing ip, setting up user acct) on a computer at my store that was used on previous suspended acct - - Note that this computer has ip that changes or can be changed whenever by unplugging modem.

So, now can I use my lap top at one of these other places to check orders, download $, answer emails without any problems - since it will be a different ip from when set up on? - and still do same plus print postage etc at the store?

All I know is I use a new laptop for almost every account but I have checked these accounts at various public wifi hotspots (even spots I've logged into with banned accounts before) and so far all is good.

You have to figure that eb/pp knows that folx use laptops and are mobile these days. That being said, IP will change. I keep my cookies in place. I would bet that some weird ip would flag the account.

I use my netbook only at starbucks and mcdonalds to work on Amazon. Over a year so far with no problems.

Like the OP mentioned, you can use different wifi's to get a new ip address everytime but what about the MAC. I'm still a little confused....some people say that you need to change the MAC and some people say that you don't.

I bought a new router so now I have a new ip and mac but do I still need to change my computer's mac since I'm using wifi????? When I go into my network connections, obviously my local area connection is disabled since I'm using wifi. So why do I still need to change the nic card's mac???

I am still looking for an answer to this question!!!!!! Do I need to change the MAC address on my machine and my router for a stealth amazon account???????

why dont you just try, imean its still works without mac spoof?

I guess I could but I dont want to mess up my account. Maybe I should try just a random account...hmmmm.
