Name Change for Amazon Accounts for IRS
 

Now that I'm having to get some of my Amazon accounts in order and incorporate to coincide with Amazon's newest policy update on the 10th, has anyone changed their stealth names to a combination of real name w/ initials? Something like Jason Jay Smith and change it to J.J. Smith or Jason J.S.?

My real name is very unique and has been suspended by Amazon some years ago. I would like some input from others as the account I want to incorporate is my longest tenured and most profitable. I don't want to change it and somehow Amazon may somehow link it. A bit overly cautious maybe. Any thoughts?

Name on amazon doesnt mean sh!t to be honest with you. The part that matters is when you give amazon the required information. They use THAT information and THAT information ONLY and has nothing to do with what is on your account..

When I provided amazon with my info last year I found that out.

I receive my 1099 with my info which is seperate from what is on the account
