Amazon tax identification How long before amazon suspends you?
My account is 2 months old. I sold $700 first month, $1500 2nd month
Amazon is requesting a tax ID. I have already set up a sole proprietorship & used the EIN in a suspended account. IRS said they will only give 1 EIN for sole prop. Per person
Shall I use my Social security & real name for the tax id. My real was used in my 1st amazon account which was suspended

I was for certain I read on amazon that if you did not provide info 30 days after email, your seller account will be considered in violation of our Amazon.com selling policies. Which violation I wonder. Some are more serious than others.
Also, it doesn't necessarily mean you would automatically be suspended upon the 30th day. But eh, I would venture if your not suspended right away, you will be eventually.
Amazon requires that you provide your taxpayer identification information. To provide the required information, please click here to start the self-service tax interview."
I think the hammer is coming down on the 10th, based on the last email regarding this subject from AZ. I am entering my new LLC info today. Yes, it cost a lot ($650), but I am to keep this account for many years.

Will the new LLC solve your problem about the Stealth account? Could Amazon just link the account by the LLC EIN number?
Thanks

fb has nothing to do with it. It is in AZ policy now and on september 30th everyone will have to provide ssn or ein. Pro seller will have to do it at the time of the registration if the account is new! and personal accounts (the one that you register as a buyer and then convert to a seller) will be required to provide one after they start sale, within 30 days or 50 sales, whichever comes first.
So, if AZ spelled out all of those details in their policy, I bet you they are getting serious about it!
I wonder if it is possible to use your SSN if it hasn't been used before. I did though have my real name suspended years ago. Have moved to different state. My name is very unique. Has anyone used SSN with real info suspended before successfully?
