EAN or UPC Problem
 

I have almost completed my first ever listing on amazon but i cant go any further because its asking me for EAN or UPC.

This is a unbranded item so i have tried to create my own code but its stopping me from continuing.

Any ideas people? :humble:

Just wanna add its unbranded but ive branded it as the same as my shop name. So i have created my own listing in other words.

I had this recently and it cost me (I think) £8 for one EAN number. I then bought 5 more for £25

Yes, your only bet is purchasing the UPC/EAN code for the product you want to list to make it unique.

GrannyT, I've tried Amazon and the way you get your items listed and all that is just awkward. From the books I see that for every 1 item I sell on Amazon I sell 8 on Ebay. I don't like how you have to depend on Amazon for item description, makes me feel like I don't have full control.

Spot on GB. I think when i posted this i had been trying to sort the problem for a couple hours at least and felt like putting my fist through the screen. Sorry...

I manage to create my own EAN codes for unbranded amazon listings...

Now I am wondering if this is okay?
