New Amazon Tax ID Notification (posted 7/23)

Looks like Amazon put a warning up that they want tax ID info by Sept. 30. I'm not sure if I misunderstood the message, but it seems like they might be requiring it as of right now for new accounts. Any confirmation on this?

Not me for. I created a new account about 5 days ago sold 2k worth of stuff to date ( account in velocity review as right now ) no tax ID request yet

Want to no, why would I? My items are legit I know I can get feedback, its actually a rolling review which isnt so bad.

Im trying to build up the account for the holidays which as you may or may not know this would be the time to do so before amazon clamps down next month and a half
