Competitor threats etc. Really bad and need advice
 

This is the best place for advice and the community has always helped me. Thanks to all those that help me with this...

Before I go into detail just to clarify my Amazon account is 100% legit and 'all above board'. It has passed reviews, been registered for a year and is in tip top order. Good feedback, no problems.

A competitor who has only recently come on the scene, just over 2 months. They sent me a message telling me that they have reported me to Amazon (I have done nothing wrong 100%). Their reason for reporting is that they claim the item is different. The item is generic, the listing is generic. He most certainly didn't create it and from what I can see is jealous as he gets hardly any sales.

I called Amazon who told me to file a report. The woman assured me that my account would be fine as they would have to supply evidence etc and even then it would be a bit hard to prove if what he is saying was true.

My question is can his report cause me any problems? As stated I've done nothing wrong but you never know with Amazon...

honestly, highly doubt that you will have any problems on your end.

Just keep up the sales, feedback, great customer service and ignore this person altogether.

You've already done your part by contacting customer service. Wait for others to whistle in (rsot the legend lol) but id file the report. You've done nothing wrong and shouldnt have to put up with the BS

Keep the email evidence just in case amazon asks for it.

If the person keeps contacting you, it will become harassment and amazon will probably go after them.

1 person usually cannot hurt you its when they start working with others to get you suspended then its pretty much over.

I wouldnt be too worried, when you get a message like that again simply click the report button within the message and forget about it.

Yeah, it's when one person pretends to be a bunch of people that you start to have trouble.
