| adam34996 | 09-14-2012 08:52 AM | Did anyone us their REAL SS# for Amazon successfully? I am probably going to create a single member LLC but I wanted to see if anyone has used there real SS number successfully? This is just a back up account with little to no activity.
Thanks |
| slim jim | 09-14-2012 08:55 AM | It is successul if it hasn't been used before |
| Recherché | 09-14-2012 10:01 AM | Haven't been used before? How about having your real name & info suspended before? You couldn't use your SSN even if never used right? I'm under the presumption amazon may or may not check EIN, but SSN should be simple to check. |
| slim jim | 09-14-2012 11:14 AM | you could use the same name with new address (different zip code), new ip, etc...it's ideal to go total stealth but this should work as long as there is no linking |
| adam34996 | 09-14-2012 05:01 PM | I never used this before but the name will match that of a previously banned account. The address and everything else is different. Should I be safe or open a single member llc |
| slim jim | 09-14-2012 07:57 PM | i would imagine more than 1 person has your name unless it is an uncommon name. opening an llc/corp would always be safer and a better way to do business and be taken seriously |
| pricego | 09-22-2012 06:10 PM | I had an account suspended before and i am currently using a stealth amazon account with false info and address etc.. all is fine, but for the SS i put my real info (From old suspended account) and real SS since there is no way around it, I have not gotten suspended and ive done this when it was required back in december |
While you are successful now, I am not a big fan of giving out my real info like this to these companies - what happens if your account does go down? your SS* is tainted for life on the system. All the best though. |
| degsey69 | 09-23-2012 10:10 AM | I do not think they associate the name, what I believe Amazon do is check to see if the SSN or EIN is real so they can comply with federal regulations of giving out a 1099 over $10,000 of sales in the USA. |

| dancnbaby | 09-23-2012 07:53 PM | So if you have used your real name but NOT your SSN and you change your address to say a POBOX- you should be fine? |

I had used a friends SSN (with her permission) on amazon, her real name & SSN but ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address. Amazon takes a few weeks to "verify" that its authentic info and I did NOT pass..it rejected it and made me re-take the stupid interview for SSN input.
So I think Amazon has a way to check on the name in addition to SSN#..I actually think it was rejected because I didn't know her middle initial (amazon requires first name, middle initial, and last name).
Anyone else have success with EIN and did you have to input other real info for the company name and address? |

Either way I had her permission to use her SSN to sell items, so basically I became her. |

It will screw them over once the IRS realizes they didnt pay the correct amount in taxes, and the interest will be extremely high once they catch it. Also whoevers SSN you used will most likely file fraud, which will then screw you over, because they will not be able to cover the taxes you owed plus interest. Just get an EIN. |

| rollins121 | 10-23-2012 09:57 AM | When does Amazon send you tax information? Is there a certain amount of sales? What are the stipulations? |
50 sales and waiting...how are you certain that moving on wont lead to account deletion? |
| kris3841 | 10-26-2012 02:35 AM | Thinking about doing the 50 sales and dump (til next year) account thing as well.
How many accounts you guys plan on running lol? I have gotten 4 accounts per PC,
any tips on getting more than 4 per PC? lol
