Already suspended account gets tax notice: what to do
 

Has anyone noticed on any suspended accounts that if they haven't put in a tax id, that it is claiming it is suspended b/c of that??

I got an email from seller central telling me I need to add my bank details so they can deposit the funds (which are on hold for 90 days so I need to add the bank account so it can just say oh wait never mind). I noticed that it is also stating that b/c I have no tax id, my account is inactive.

I am not thinking I am going to add it, cause I do not want to burn any numbers on $180 deposit. But do you think that when the 90 days are up, that will prevent me from getting my funds or just as they are stating that it makes my account inactive, which it was anyway cause it's suspended.

It's probably an automatic email. I would wait the 90 days and email them to add an account # for deposit. Just use one from a previously banned account.

2. Have you tried to login into the account to make sure still active?

Well, I added a bank account that hasn't been used before, but I am not going to add a Ssn. It costs more to get LLC than what is to be paid out. So I will just wait the 90 days and then I can update everyone.

You have to complete tax questionnaire otherwise you will not receive your $180.00 disbursement . Fortunately there's always a way around these things, especially since the account is already suspended. I am not sure if I can say it here, just read up on the posts on the tax issue, you should be able to get some clues.

I had the same problem, I was wondering why the disbursement was failing every time and it was because I had not complete the tax part.

Even if you we're suspended or after the 90 days?

Once I get my other three accounts paid out, then I don't mind adding the one linked to them... They are about $5k total.

If you add your information and the system is trying to verify, will it still disperse or does it wait until it knows it is a good number?

Not trying to avoid taxes on $180, trying to get my funds without burning another number or getting deleted.

From my experience if you enter the information the hold (disbursement hold due to tax requirement) is automatically lifted and the disbursement goes through on the next date, even if the information is pending verification.

This is based on my personal experience with this problem. Your mileage may vary (YMMV).

That is what I was going to do. Wait the 90 days and then right before it ends put in a number.

i had a little over 2000 deposited into my bank account yesterday after waiting the 90 days and also getting the same email that i have to add my tax id info but i just never did but i also had the same concern but it doesnt matter as long as your account is still there and not deleted you will get your money. Dont put your tax id info in you dont need to since your account is already suspended.

That's a huge 'if' for some people...sadly.
