Amazon stealth acct for Shoes category
 

i was selling under Shoes category before acct got suspended. it was my first amazon selling acct. our sales volume took off during holiday season. I guess we sold too much-too soon for a new seller.

Amazon claimed we did not have enough feedback to justify high volume and that they need to review us. After 24 hours we got permanent suspended notice due to possible intellectual copyright infringement violation - out of nowhere. Provided all docs showing legitimacy of our items but no response.

So, decided to try Amazon stealth and move on. I provided our online url along w/ other info (business description) to be approved to sell under Shoes category. I don't want to create a brand new web site just for Amazon purpose. Anyone here have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It's already noted that selling the same goods could trigger another automatic suspension.

It has many posts to compliment what is in the subscribers' area.

By "same goods" do you mean identical items or same category goods? I read through a lot of posts but didn't see anything that relate to my original post. Once back in, I plan on listing different items first (completely different UPC) and may slowly add previously sold items. Do I have to create a brand new website to apply for Shoes category approval? Does Amazon link previously provided url info for pre-approval required category to new seller application? I know it's safe to just launch a new site but wanted to ask here... thnx.

Here are my suggestions...for your new stealth account/site.

1) Products? Everything has to be new as far as products are concerned for starters. Especially for categories that require approval because you will have to ask Amazon to check you out at some point. And check they will.

2) Seeking Category Approval. If you are seeking approval to sell in a particular category based on having an already established website. Amazon checks 'whois' (or something similar) for the URL and they can see who the domain is registrant is, IP etc so you can't use the same url.

3) Packing more punch. If you have very high sales volume $20K+/- my suggestion is Fulfillment by Amazon, or even better Amazon webstore. Few people may disagree but FBA and webstore will let you hit higher sells volumes with far much less reviews. This is from personal experience, Any items $750 for me goes to FBA, it works all the time. No reviews or pass reviews. (knock on wood). With FBA or Webstore Issues such as IPR are a slap on the wrist. No suspension..I have an interesting story about this ..anyways.

4)New website options? Amazon Webstore is designed for people that have their own website and still want to sell through Amazon sells channel.If you use Amazon webstore it comes with a web templates, hosting plan, FBA etc. First month is free then....$39.99/month.

Again if you are in very high Margins and have all the documents, I suggest you look into FBA or Webstore.

Those are my 2¢. Again I stand to be corrected on this.

Thanks. I actually subscribed for webstore before suspension - thinking the same. Was in the process of setting up. Then the holiday shopping season kept us busy - both Amazon & our regular business. And the suspension. Am thinking about using FBA too for new acct. However, i heard their service is not that good. Late delivery, poor packaging, etc. We actually gift wrap each order. Not sure if FBA can do this. In any case, thanks for input.
