Can Amazon block an entire IP range?

I know that Amazon can match an IP address and perhaps even block an IP address. However, can Amazon block an entire IP range?

Such as: 65.XX.XX.XX.XX, so any IP number starting with 65 is blocked?

Anyone know? Thank you.

i don't understand why they would block an ip in a world of dynamic ips. they simply log the information, i highly doubt they block it

Software exists to deny access.

Would access be denied for just two numbers of an IP address? Not likely.

BUT if the system in place at amazon could detect certain details of that address they may take defensive action.

Should the IP address be part of a VPN, it may be prudent for amazon to take protective action.

Expand on your question please

Absolutely. I know of a few sites that do this.

Technically speaking yes they can block an entire block of IPs but I do not see any value that would gain them.

65.XX.XX.XX is over 1.5 Million IPs.

Amazon owns their network so they can block who ever they want.
