Amazon is charging cards that you used to open the account at random, if the charge process fails, they will just delete your account and keep your money. They are charging the cards AFTER account opening, so if the balance of your card goes low, bye bye acc!

Typically this will happen just before your reimbursement date, sneaky sneaky!

This isnt new that is the reason why you need to keep a good balance on your cards. They charge me every once in awhile I know cuz I check my bank account daily and constantly see authorization charges from amazon

I have been using $25 gift cards, but on some of my stealth accounts I only have $5. Should I buy another $25 gift card for that account and change the card? Is it OK to change the card on file before you account has been under review?

They can charge as high as 15-20 - need a good amount to keep on the card

OK, makes sense, I will get a new one today. I would have got a re loadable but I heard that Vanilla Visa reloadables were no good. I always get the $25 gift card.

You can replace the card without issues.

I didn't think this was anything new, thought they been doing this.

For my accounts I haven't seen them charge over $10, so that is how much I keep on the cards and they have been going for about a year like that.
