Amazon seeing thru VM Ware Now? Guys, I got bad news.. I have been changing my ip, changing my mac address, just like always, now Amazon deltes my accounts in about a day.. Somehow they are seeing thru all this stuff.. They got something... Something is not right.. When you have an account go down, and you make another, you might see..
I did list some of the same products after about a week...
I had a hunch.. but thought I might have gotten sloppy.. But now seems like they have stepped up their game..
Any help is appreciated...
can't seem to get on and stay on like before |
Same items I did list some of the same items, but the city, and all the information was different..
When you go new stealth do you have to change items 100%.. ? Is like Kelly says, you must list 10 items for every one pre-existing??
Just seems like they can see the computer footprint somehow... Even on accounts I didn't list anything they took those too..
Something is up.. I don't trust VM Ware. anymore.. is there a better system? |
aspkin | 05-05-2013 02:14 PM | What is your internet connection looking like? Your setup there. |
TonyAlmeida | 05-06-2013 11:17 AM | You must be doing something wrong. VMware running fine here.
Like Aspkin said, what is your Internet connection? (provider, type.....) |
Are you using a valid cc that does not expire after one day and can handle the test charge? Amazon has a lot of variables that need addressing...discussion is in order. |
I went to a new coffee shop. Used their Connection. Made a new stealth account with a new VM Ware Profile. Same result.. I did list 5 items that I previously sold on the suspended acct. I did not follow the 10/1 rule. I know that is possibly the reason. but I think they are seeing thru the footprint somehow.. Do I need a noew computer? Do I need to re-install VM ware and do a new install? That shouldn't matter? Something is not right.. They are doing this on accts with no listings too. I think AZ has stepped up their game as I have stated earlier. Any Ideas appreciated. |
Ukdirect | 05-09-2013 08:34 AM | Firstly dont use a public internet connection you have no control over it and know idea what sites other people have been to over the same router.
Never mind the 10/1 rule on a brand new account I wouldn't try listing items from a banned account for a couple of months at least and then when I do I follow 10/1.
When Amazon ban your new accounts what does the email say? |
slapped | 05-09-2013 09:13 AM | Try changing your VM's when you create them,, Different Operating System, Different Hard Drive size, different Internet Browser, Different Antivirus, Make your VM "look"Different to Amazon, I think you will find that this will work for you |

| This is the reason. Stop doing that. |
Freshman | 05-09-2013 10:38 AM | Guys, I got bad news.. lol if it was true everybody would know already |
Change the VM Ware? Do I need to change the OS on the VM Ware? What is the NIC Tony is referring to?
I just bought 13 new static ip's , I sure don't want to burn thru them...
I got to make sure I do this right..
Thanks Guys! |
Amazon Says Nothing AZ says Nothing, my listings are gone and I cannot access the account.. |
TonyAlmeida | 05-09-2013 11:04 AM | What is your Internet connection????? |
connection Hi Tony,
I am getting 13 new Static ips from Time Warner.. I have been using wi fi sopts.. never occurred to me they could be blacklisted.. my bad..
I was using Dynamic before.. They changed, but I never kept logs.. Never occurred to me I would run out .. I am learning the hardest way.. |
TonyAlmeida | 05-09-2013 11:47 AM | Sorry, I don't used static IP and don't know how to use them.
I think there is still some error in your process that could link you. But I'm don't know what. |
Yes, that is what I dont know.. If same items get you suspended, then stealths days are all numbered.. that means that a new account comes online, and an account just got suspended for the same items, this account will get suspended also? I was told static ips are the way to go. |
oompaloompa | 05-10-2013 01:32 PM | static ips are ok, dynamic are probably better, as long as not repeated.....you used coffee shop wifi and you wonder why you got banned??? |
Yeah, it was adumb idea when I think about it... but I have used all my dynamic ones up |
kwikiimart | 05-19-2013 02:49 AM | Static ips arn't they usually real close to each other? For example: 24.123.123.123 - 24.123.123.124? Like just the last digit changes? They usually also point to the same location. You should get mobile dongles even though they cost a bit more to setup but they are more safe. |
jeffweico | 05-20-2013 01:42 AM | Amazon definitely has better technology than eBay does. However, listing the same items is not helping you. Neither is using the Wi-Fi connection at a coffee shop.
I have 2 DSL lines, a cable modem and about 10 mobile broadband USB sticks. That is in addition to 8 VPS's. You need multiple connections. There are other ways to do it, but that is what works for me. I use a new (used) computer for each account (except on the VPS's).
I never cheap out on this stuff. Usually, when someone is having an issue, it is because they cut corners or did not want to spend the $$$ for a DECENT VPS (forget the $5 cheapies) or keep a working phone number on their accounts (that costs about $5 per month from SEVERAL providers. Each account costs me about $50 per month. That is just the cost of doing business. My grandmother always used to say "sometimes cheap is dear" meaning that being cheap can cost you BIG! And she was 100% right! |
jeffweico | 05-20-2013 01:44 AM | Also...
Try to make each account different from all of your other accounts. Different OS, anti-virus, Firefox or IE plugins, etc. |
GreenBean | 05-20-2013 06:03 AM | Keep in mind you are now a STEALTH amazon seller.
You have to be operating in such a way to outsmart the systems amazon has.
Before making another account go thro' as many threads as you can to pick out the best method.
Otherwise you fail and fail repeatedly.
Everything must be so new you do not know yourself.
