But these don't have any funds on do they? I've read that Amazon try to pre authorise charge them sometimes?

Ebayorbust 05-26-2013 04:03 AM

For Amazon, get a 3V card.

Tescos or Boots may stock them. Needs to be the card and not the voucher.

So with these you just buy them, bring it home then register an address against the card?

Yes.

Cards are loaded with £20 odd pounds (can't remember the exact figure) but there's more than enough to cover any test charges.

I have gotten 3V's from boots. You can buy them in different denominations and they charge approx £2.50 ontop of the value of the card.

You're a superstar! Hope it's sunny up in Scotland.

C'mon, it's a bank holiday weekend so it's cloudy with rain forecast and temp below average.

Good weather for gingers. ;)

Ed 05-26-2013 07:54 AM

The only visa I can find it town is in boots. The cards £25 (plus £2.95 fee) and you register it at gospendit.co.uk.

Is that the right one, will it work?

No sign of the V3 in Boots, WH Smiths or Clintons Cards.

GTB 05-26-2013 08:05 AM

Ed 05-28-2013 08:17 AM

This is the only card I can find in Boots and Tesco-

Would that work? Or do I need to carry on searching the country high and low for the V3 card?

MICKY H 05-28-2013 07:09 PM

Thats fine, same as Sainsbury. Just remember it expires after 6 months so you will need to buy another then cos amazon will flag you for an expired card. But will your account last 6 months, quite rare nowadays...LOL

sax4 05-29-2013 05:21 AM

Above card will do the job nicely

Why's it so rare? I know loads of people that have had success with stealth accounts for years (honest question).

Reading the back of the pack it says the card lasts 24 months.

Thanks guys!

Re: Best Prepaid Card For UK

Hello guys,
I am new to this forum, from the UK and have spent the last 3 days going through all the posts. I must say, the forum has boost my confidence a lot.
My question goes -
I just signed up for Cashplus prepaid card in my name (used on a banned account) but a different address. The card has now been approved. Can I still use the card? or just get the 3V card from Morrisson.
