Well, tbh it seems like anyone below 85% is always a Chinese seller. I do a lot of research of products as well as competition.. so I see this constantly. At this point I feel like Amazon may have taken a stance where they believe it's actually higher risk to delete the seller rather than let them continue selling.
These metrics would get a US seller suspended in a moment.. but every time you crush one seller account from China, another 2 most likely pops up in its place. I'm sure there's a lot less regulation when it comes to Amazon's identification process on overseas sellers. Amazon might look at it this way: at least the customer can see their bad rep and make an educated decision about it, rather than deleting the account, and letting their bad selling remain under the radar for new accounts that lack feedback.
Moral of the story: Amazon should regulate the .US market and not even allow foreign sellers to sell within this marketplace. To a certain extent, it is futile. Chinese sellers would first send a few workers to America to set up shop here, while importing their merchandise directly to those workers for US sales, before taking losses in profits. Still, killing accounts that are shipping from China would be a great start.
